Apr 18, 2025 · Sally Ortgies (Iowa Park Lady)Lovely campground in a pleasant, rolling countryside. Proprietors/management seemed well-organized and helpful, and the grounds were well-kept. Scenic lake in the middle of the campground that permits fishing and kayaking/canoeing. Quite cheap for tent camping at only $10 a night (summer 2024). Will visit/stay again if in the area.
Jul 01, 2024 · Kriz RbsnAwesome surprise. We randomly found the place online and stayed one night at traveling along Highway. 39’ travel trailer fit super easy on a full hook up site. Great water pressure and electric and hookup locations. Super friendly staff. Clean and beautiful grounds.
Aug 03, 2024 · Aaron KreaisAbsolute gem for a quick stop or a full stay. We were heading west and decided to stop in after finding it on the map as one of the nearby options. Was a bit worried about first come first served but there were plenty of spots when we rolled in around 4pm. Clean, well maintained, and far enough away from the highway that there was very little noise. People seem super friendly and all of the guests were well behaved. Like us, many of them needed sleep on their way somewhere else. Pro tip - head to the furthest spots away from check-in. They're the quietest, have full hookups and are newly installed. You're not getting a lot of privacy as the spots are close together, but it's rare to find a new, well maintained place, with full hookups for $30 a night. Electric only sites are $20.
Aug 04, 2024 · Josh JurrensVery nice park! We rented a paddle boat but ended up having to come back after half an hour due to severe weather. They refunded our money since we weren't able to go the full hour. The park is well kept and the people are friendly! Looking forward to returning soon.
