звонить: (803) 492-7924 or +1 803-492-7924 to book your stay and discover the charm of this lakeside haven. Based on feedback from fellow campers, Bells Marina Campground presents a beautifully quiet location, perfect for those seeking tranquility and a connection with nature.
The campground offers a range of accommodation options to suit different preferences. For RV travelers, the sites are described as spacious, easily accommodating larger rigs like a 38ft American Eagle. Hookups are conveniently located, and each site comes equipped with a fire ring and a picnic table, essential for the classic camping experience. The pads are generally level with a gravel surface and railroad ties defining the perimeter. Many sites boast the added charm of a beautiful oak tree, some even featuring a swing and picturesque lake views.
Beyond the individual campsites, Bells Marina Campground provides several amenities designed to enhance your stay. A dedicated outdoor seating and kitchen area offers a communal space for meal preparation and relaxation. Families with young children will appreciate the small playground available on-site, allowing kids to burn off energy in a safe environment. For those interested in exploring Lake Marion, boat rentals are available, and the campground features a convenient boat launch with overnight dock slips and a beachhead for day grounding. Fishing enthusiasts will find a dedicated fish cleaning station and a well-stocked store catering to their needs.
The lake itself is a major draw, offering opportunities for boating, fishing, and simply enjoying the waterfront scenery. Reviewers mention abundant lakeside beachfront, docks, and green spaces perfect for leisurely strolls with loved ones and pets. Comfortable lakeside rockers provide ample seating to soak in the views, observe local wildlife like jumping fish, swimming alligators, and passing herons. While the lake is pet-friendly for swimming, it's important to remain vigilant for reptiles.
For those seeking a more traditional lodging experience, Bells Marina Campground also features clean and simply decorated hotel rooms and on-site cottages. This variety of accommodation makes it an ideal location for groups with diverse preferences, allowing some to camp in RVs while others enjoy the comfort of a room or cottage.
The campground also fosters a sense of security with a gated property accessible via registered guest key fobs, ensuring a peaceful and private environment. Additionally, the presence of a restaurant on-site adds another layer of convenience, offering an alternative to cooking after a day of activities.
While the majority of the campsites tend to be occupied by long-term residents, creating a quieter atmosphere with potentially fewer spontaneous "campground community" interactions, this might be a significant advantage for those seeking a peaceful retreat. However, it's worth noting for campers who prioritize a more social and interactive campground environment. Another point to be aware of, as mentioned by a reviewer, is the presence of fire ants, so caution is advised. Additionally, there was a reported issue with low water pressure in the mornings, which improved as the day progressed.
Despite these minor drawbacks, the overwhelming sentiment from reviews highlights the beauty and tranquility of Bells Marina Campground. The well-maintained facilities, including a roomy and updated bathhouse with coin-operated washers and dryers, contribute to a comfortable stay. The covered gazebo with prepping and grilling stations, along with recreational options like volleyball and bag toss, provides opportunities for outdoor enjoyment. The large field offers additional space for various activities.
For local users searching for "camping near me" that offers a diverse range of amenities and a stunning lakeside setting, Bells Marina Campground in Eutawville, SC, is definitely worth considering. Its combination of RV sites, cottages, and hotel rooms, coupled with its access to Lake Marion for boating and fishing, a playground for children, and practical facilities like a well-stocked store and laundry, makes it a compelling option for various types of campers. Whether you're looking for a quiet weekend escape or a longer lakeside vacation, Bells Marina Campground provides a beautiful and well-equipped environment to create lasting memories. Bells Marina Campground Reviews
The owners have created such a beautifully quiet location! The hotel rooms are clean and simply decorated. The bed was comfortable. Nice outdoor seating/outdoor kitchen area. Small playground available.
Apr 14, 2025 · Dee LucasIf you are looking for THAT place, this could be the one. I'll start with the cons because it's a short list and one of them is my personal preference. I found that the online reservation to be a little confusing only because the campground runs on site cottages and a hotel as well. Most of the sites are longterm with only a few weekenders which leads me to my 2nd con. Kind of quiet when it comes to that "campground community" interactions but, that may be your cup of tea. I like to share adult beverages with new friends if you know what I mean. Fire Ants, lots of them so beware. And finally, the water pressure in the mornings was pretty bad but, as the morning pregressed it returned to normal. My rig is an American Eagle 38a, there was plenty of room to maneuver on the property. The site was easy on the hook ups, very clean, came with a fire ring and picnic table. The pads are fairly level, gravel, and have railroad ties on the perimeter. My site had a beautiful oak tree with a swing and a view of the lake, all of them do really. Which brings me to why you try this place a least once, the lake. Have a boat? Bring it. Don't have a boat? Call the local guides! Want to stroll? There is plenty of lakeside beach front, docks, and green space for you, your honey, and the pooches. My sweetie and I sat in the lakeside rockers (plenty of seating for everyone) and watched the fishes jump, the gators swim, and the herons fly by. My dogs just loved swimming in the lake but, keep an eye out for the reptiles! Bell's had a nice area for eating/recreation, plenty of well kept tables and chairs, covered gazebo with prepping and grilling stations, volleyball, bag toss, boat rentals, and a large field. There was also some small child play equipment alongside so you could watch them as you cooked. At the boat launch there are dock slips available for overnight, beachhead for day grounding, and a fish cleaning station. The bath house was roomy, updated, and had two washers and driers, coin operated of course. Site amenities included a well stocked store and a large separate area for the fisherman. The property is gated with registered guest key fobs, no riff raff here, and has restaurant. I'll be back and bring some friends too but, they can stay in the hotel or grab a cottage located onsite.
Aug 05, 2024 · Shaun ShawWe stayed here for a week and kids enjoyed the dock catching small bluegill. Nice looking out over the water and great place if you have a fishing boat. Park was clean, quiet at night and had big grassy area by lake to use. Site #10 was fairly level but approach had a dip that came close to bottoming out our large Class A. Water pressure low but usable. Okay value overall at $75 a night.
Jun 04, 2024 · Brett RuprechtVery nice place, clean and well maintained. Jud, one of the owners, was very friendly and told us he and his wife are 5th generation owners. Highly recommend for a quiet laid back experience
Jun 18, 2024 · Shawn VillersI had a great time at Bells Marina!! They have plenty of seating next to the water so you can view the wild life or just relax in tranquility, it is so peaceful. If you like fishing, they have plenty of amenities for you. They sell anything you need to catch a fish with,(in the camp store) and they also have two boat ramps and a nice dock where you can get a slip to park your boat. There is also a playground for the kiddo's, and a restaurant so that you can enjoy your stay and not have to worry about anything!!!
