While not traditional tent camping, renting a cabin offers a unique way to experience the outdoors with added shelter and amenities. Based on the available customer reviews, this particular cabin seems to offer both space and a desirable location.
One of the key highlights from the reviews is the cabin's size, described as "big enough for 6 with room to spare." This indicates that the Big Bear cabin is well-suited for families or larger groups looking to enjoy a getaway together. The spaciousness suggests comfortable accommodation without feeling cramped, allowing everyone to relax and unwind during their stay. This feature is particularly attractive for those who appreciate having ample room indoors after a day of outdoor activities.
Another significant advantage mentioned is the cabin's proximity to the village, being just a "5 min drive to village city." This location offers the best of both worlds – the tranquility of a cabin retreat and the convenience of nearby amenities, shops, and attractions within Big Bear Village. Guests can easily access restaurants, grocery stores, entertainment options, and local events without a long commute, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.

This strong endorsement suggests that the Big Bear cabin provided a satisfying and memorable experience for this family. Their intention to return is a testament to the cabin's appeal and the overall positive impression it left.
The same reviewer also offers valuable advice for others considering a similar "outdoor kind of camping" experience, referring to renting a cabin. They recommend doing "homework and looking into the amenities that come with a cabin, the area where the cabin is at, and all things around it." This highlights the importance of researching specific features and the surrounding environment to ensure the cabin meets individual needs and preferences. While the review doesn't explicitly list the amenities of the Big Bear cabin, it underscores the general principle of checking what is included before arrival.
Given the address in Big Bear, California, the environment surrounding the cabin is likely characterized by the natural beauty of the San Bernardino Mountains. This area is known for its stunning scenery, including forests, a picturesque lake, and opportunities for various outdoor activities depending on the season. These activities might include hiking, mountain biking, boating, fishing, and winter sports like skiing and snowboarding. Staying in a cabin in this environment allows guests to immerse themselves in nature while enjoying the comforts of indoor accommodation.
Based on the limited information, we can infer some potential services and features of the Big Bear cabin, although it's crucial to remember that these are not explicitly stated and would need to be confirmed with the rental provider:

- Proximity to Big Bear Village: Offering easy access to shops, restaurants, and attractions.
- Likely equipped with basic amenities: As suggested by the reviewer's advice to check amenities, one might expect essentials such as a kitchen (with appliances like a refrigerator, stove, and microwave), bathroom facilities, and beds.
- Potential for outdoor space: Cabins often include features like a deck or patio, allowing guests to enjoy the surrounding environment.
- Parking: Given its location, parking for at least one vehicle is highly probable.

Cabin big enough for 6 with room to spare 5min drive to village city
Nov 20, 2021 · Becky RodriguezWas the very first time that I rented a cabin in Big Bear so my opinion is I can give it would be the best and most honest opinion that I can share with everyone out there I took my family out there for the very first time in Big Bear and in the cabin overall we like to very much and making plans to go back there again soon. But I do recommend for those that haven't got there or experienced any kind of outdoor kind of camping which I'm referring to renting a cabin type if you haven't I recommend it because it's a good experience for one self or with a family but like I was saying I recommend to do homework and looking into the amenities that come with a cabin the area where the cabin is at and all things around it for that is the one thing that we learned as we were there that could have helped us out before arriving.
