Black Lake State Forest Campground Reviews
Amazing location. Upper campground allows ORV access for parking and lower had them completely prohibited (even to park). The lots were very large and comfortable. We stayed for 3 nights and loved our experience. Seemingly endless opportunities to hike and trail ride.Just a wonderful weekend getaway.
Oct 14, 2024 · Hyper LWow, this campground is fantastic! There are a upper and lower portion, lower is on Black Lake and the upper is typically where more spacious wooded sites are that is Off Road Vehicle Approved.Very clean, spacious, well kept and overall quiet during our stay. There is a restaurant near by that served good food and drinks, we were only a 3 minute walk from it and did not hear it at night (we were there in the fall maybe in the summer it is different, who knows). Black Lake is beautiful, the trails are excellent, overall great stay here.
