Our 1st time Here, we didn't know what to expect, considering the reviews were all over the place. My family only came to camp for one night, but in one night you can learn a lot about a place. Our site was close to the water, and we had plenty of room. Our neighbors were all very nice. There was a very clean porta-potty close by. There were also bathrooms up by the pool if you would rather use those. One pool out of 3 was open, which wasn't a big deal for us. The wristband was only $1 per person. The park area close to the shelter was decent. My grandson didn't mind playing there (probably could use the grass to be cut). The only thing I didn't really enjoy was the amount of animal poop everywhere, either raccoons or geese, but it wouldn't keep me from coming back. Overall, our one day and night was relaxing and worked for what we needed. - Dawn Watson
