Cera Park Reviews
Our 1st time Here, we didn't know what to expect, considering the reviews were all over the place. My family only came to camp for one night, but in one night you can learn a lot about a place. Our site was close to the water, and we had plenty of room. Our neighbors were all very nice. There was a very clean porta-potty close by. There were also bathrooms up by the pool if you would rather use those. One pool out of 3 was open, which wasn't a big deal for us. The wristband was only $1 per person. The park area close to the shelter was decent. My grandson didn't mind playing there (probably could use the grass to be cut). The only thing I didn't really enjoy was the amount of animal poop everywhere, either raccoons or geese, but it wouldn't keep me from coming back. Overall, our one day and night was relaxing and worked for what we needed.
Jul 29, 2024 · Dawn WatsonA nice park where you can reserve sites to camp, with either an RV or a tent. There are a few shelters than can be reserved for events. This place has a playground, mini golf, swimming pools, a baseball diamond, fishing docks, restrooms with showers, a concessions stand, and plenty of parking.Looks like a nice place to spend an afternoon or a weekend. There are a few Pokestops here.
Jun 07, 2021 · Nathan FlaminioFor 2 adults that were looking for a place to set up a tent and sit by a fire this was perfect. The toilet near the tent sites was clean, and the site was great for our needs. There are no pictures of the sites on the website or descriptions of what is on each site so we took a gamble, but were happy to see a well kept fire ring and a picnic table in good shape at our tent site. However, the other reviews mentioning the pool and mini golf not being open are valid and if you're looking for a campground that has things for kids to do, this wouldn't be good for you.You can also hear traffic pretty clearly at the tent sites, but again for 2 adults from a big city, this wasn't an issue for us.
Aug 14, 2024 · Nicole AUsed to be a fabulous place to camp. Unfortunately, they have implemented new fees that are unfair to patrons. They are charging for a day pass to visit anyone camping but only to those that come when the gatehouse is open. Gatehouse hours are sporadic at best. So you may or may not be asked to pay the fee. They are charging an additional fee to campers to swim in the pool. (One of the only amenities at the campground.) Which wasn't really a problem for me since figuring out when the pool would be open was a struggle at best. The grounds aren't kept up as nice as they used too either. I actually had to ask one of the permanent site holders to cut the grass around my firepit since it hadn't been done for an obviously long time. I give them a three because it does have sites that are a great size, the people that I spoke with were friendly and because it is conveniently located for me. I truly hope they can turn things around because it was, at one time, one of the best campgrounds in the area.
Jul 28, 2024 · Wendy MinchWonderful campground. Clean and we'll maintained. Three nice pools, mini golf, boat launch, and camping right on the water in some parts. Speed bumps throughout the whole park, so feels safe for the kids to walk/ride their bikes. The bathrooms could use updating for as much as you pay to camp there. The wood is ridiculously expensive (small bundle for $25). Two meals cooking over the fire cost $50. They had some extra fun activities on the weekend we camped there for the kids (movie Friday with freeze-pops).
