Christopher Run Campground Reviews
My husband and I started coming here last year. This is now our favorite place to camp and fish. The fishing from shore is great! Caught quite a few largemouth and decent size as well. The ladies in the office are always so pleasant and ready to help in any way possible. We will see you in 4 days! We are super excited!
Apr 10, 2025 · Angela LacoyWe love it here. We bring our camper and spend most of our summer days here. Lake is beautiful. Has a small mini golf course and playground. The staff is great. The laundry room is dated and not wheelchair accessible. The bath house needs some love and although there is a wheelchair accessible stall there isn't an accessible shower stall. Definitely not super close to a bigger town but a few small towns with the basics within 15 mins. A small strip with a Food Lion and things 5-,6 mins away. The good size towns/cities 45 mins away.
Apr 08, 2025 · Amber JacksonHorrible experience. I was tent camping and travelling and needed rest. It was a weekend stay. Quiet time is not enforced. They have a fancy brochure, but in reality there are no rules here. You can't even call anyone because the office closes at 6pm. First night, yelling and screaming from parties didn't end until 1am. Second night there were some drunks, and/or crackheads from a loud party, yelling and screaming, running around with flashlights until 4:30am. When we reported this to the owners in the morning, all we got was "we're sorry". If you want to get drunk and party all night outside, by all means go here......
Oct 08, 2024 · GM866Best camping spot on Lake Anna. Very convenient to get on the water with multiple launch spots. The folks in the store are always very helpful and knowledgeable. We've tent camped for years and stayed in the cabins a couple times and haven't had any issue. We pay extra to keep our boat here during the summer and it’s definitely worth it!
Jul 16, 2024 · Baileigh CurtinI camped in 6 states for a month each this summer. IN,IL,PA, VA, already then NC then SC to go. This is the most expensive by $200 with the least amenities. No pool, no fire pit, limited full hook-up sites. Really don't recommend this place. Had to move 3 times. Algae bloom on lake, no swimming, fish you can eat if cooked to a crisp. My mistake coming here, don't make it your mistake.
