Codorus State Park Campground Entrance/Contact Station Reviews
Beautiful place to go camping, staff at office & contact station are always helpful & friendly. Be sure to check out the playground and attend worship services Sundays at 9:30 AM. The Mary Ann Furnace trail leads from that area as well and is not too long to take. There's dog friendly campsites & the Timber Doodle sites are closer to the water.
Jun 02, 2024 · Amber S.B.Love this campground, been tent camping here multiple times. Convenient on line reservation, very reasonable prices, park rangers perform patrols throughout the day and night, clean pads for tents or RVs, clean well maintained bathrooms, site electric has 20A & 30A outlets. primitive sites also available, easy access to strategically located dump/garbage bins. Oh, if you have t-mobile for your mobile phones, the signal is good. Quiet time i believe is 10pm, never had issues with noise from other campers
Sep 18, 2023 · Ed RI have camped here once and my husband, a few times now. It's a beautiful state park. Booking is easy and affordable. Our first night, the electric box was down. They sent someone the next day to fix it.
Oct 13, 2024 · M. ArlyndaWe camped for a weekend at spot A-15. The park was nice but we camped for other activities close by. The campsite was nice, but it did have a slight grade, and there is also a cut sign post partially sticking out of the ground here. It could be a tripping / cutting hazard for children or anyone not wearing shoes. The bathrooms were clean and relatively close by, with showers being offered as well.Overall, the stay was pleasant.
May 14, 2024 · BradUnfortunately, it was a rainy weekend, so kayaking, walking, fires, and hanging outdoors was pretty much a bust. I think THE worst element of the visit to Codorus was the site (#168). I had to park the trailer near 50/50 on the paved pad and the grass. Not doing this, we'd step off campers steps into the woods. The park picnic table and fire ring were on the opposite side of the camper entry door, given there's NO space on the door side. In short, it is a crappy crappy site. Fortunately, we could visit friends (across the drive) campsite. Do not book site "168". HORRIBLE!!
