Connolly Cabins & Campground Introduce
For local adventurers seeking the perfect "camping near me" destination with a strong focus on ATV riding and access to the extensive trail systems of New Hampshire, Connolly Cabins & Campground, located at 16 Marthas Way North, Stratford, NH 03590, presents a compelling option. You can reach them at (603) 636-2100 or +1 603-636-2100 for inquiries and reservations.
Connolly Cabins & Campground stands out as a particularly convenient location for ATV enthusiasts. According to a recent guest, the ATV trails go directly through the campground, offering unparalleled access to the riding opportunities in the area. This eliminates the need for transporting your ATV to trailheads, allowing you to start your off-road adventures right from your campsite or cabin.
The campground offers a variety of accommodation options, including cabins and spacious campsites. One reviewer who stayed in a cabin with their family of four found it to be comfortable. Cabins provide a more sheltered and potentially more comfortable alternative to traditional tent camping, especially for families or those seeking additional amenities. However, this reviewer also noted that the cabin they stayed in could benefit from some updates, suggesting that while comfortable, some of the facilities might show signs of wear.
In addition to the direct trail access, another positive aspect highlighted by a visitor is the spaciousness of the campsites. Having ample space at your site can significantly enhance your camping experience, providing room for setting up equipment, parking vehicles, and enjoying outdoor activities around your campsite without feeling cramped.
The general atmosphere of Connolly Cabins & Campground seems to be friendly, with one reviewer noting that "most of the folks were friendly." A welcoming and community-oriented environment can contribute significantly to a positive camping experience, fostering interactions and a sense of camaraderie among fellow campers.
However, like any campground, Connolly Cabins & Campground has areas where improvements could be made. One reviewer pointed out a potential issue with the number of toilet facilities available, stating that there were "not enough toilets for the population." This could lead to inconvenience, especially during peak season or when the campground is at full capacity. It's a practical consideration for potential visitors to keep in mind.
Another minor inconvenience reported by a guest was not being provided with the Wi-Fi password upon check-in. While Wi-Fi availability can be a bonus at campgrounds, its reliability and accessibility can vary. For those who rely on internet connectivity during their stay, it might be worth inquiring about the Wi-Fi password and signal strength upon arrival.
Noise levels are another factor to consider. One reviewer mentioned experiencing loud partying by children until almost midnight on one of the nights of their three-night stay. While this might have been an isolated incident, it highlights the potential for noise disturbances, especially during weekends or holidays when more families and groups might be present.
Considering the feedback, Connolly Cabins & Campground appears to be a particularly attractive destination for those primarily interested in ATV riding due to its direct trail access. The spacious campsites are another significant advantage, offering comfort and room to spread out. The availability of cabin rentals provides an alternative to tent camping for those seeking more comfort or protection from the elements.
However, potential visitors should be aware of the reported need for updates in some of the cabins and the potential for an insufficient number of toilet facilities. While the general atmosphere is described as friendly, there's also a possibility of noise disturbances. The issue with obtaining the Wi-Fi password seems like a minor oversight that can likely be easily resolved.
For local users searching for "camping near me" with a focus on ATV adventures, Connolly Cabins & Campground offers a prime location in Stratford, NH, with trails directly accessible from the property. The spacious sites and cabin rentals provide accommodation options to suit different needs. While some aspects like the cabin conditions and the number of toilets might be areas for consideration, the unique benefit of immediate trail access for ATV riding makes this campground a strong contender for off-road enthusiasts. It's recommended to contact the campground directly to inquire about cabin availability, toilet facilities, Wi-Fi access, and any specific policies regarding noise to ensure it meets your expectations for your camping experience.
In summary, Connolly Cabins & Campground offers a unique selling point for ATV riders with its direct trail access and spacious campsites. The availability of cabins adds another layer of accommodation choice. While some guests have noted areas for potential improvement, the campground's primary strength lies in its convenience for off-road adventures in the Stratford, NH area. If ATV riding is a central part of your camping plans, Connolly Cabins & Campground is definitely worth considering as your next "camping near me" destination.

Connolly Cabins & Campground Reviews
Great place to stay for ATV riding. Some of the trails on this side of the trail system are very rough and rocky. The cabin was comfortable for our family of 4. I wish some money was being put back into the cabin. It could use some updates.
Aug 06, 2021 · Beth SpanswickStayed three nights.Plus: the ATV trails go right through the campground, the sites are spacious, most of the folks were friendly.Negatives: not enough toilets for the population, she didn't give me the wifi password, kids were partying loudly until almost midnight on the third night.
May 31, 2016 · Linda PageShould get no stars. Had to take Bill Noons to court to get my money. He's a scamner and a liar.trailer he sold me had no title, didn't produce one... just stay away you'll be better off... That was 2014, others have had problems also. Electric bill is printed by him, not an original it cost me almost as much to run a refrigerator there for a month as to power my house for the same momonth, I doubt he has changed
