Cottonwood Campground Reviews
Such a great campground & it’s next to a large river with trails leading to it! There are picnic tables & fire pits. Take the family or friends & go enjoy. I also found a bunch of painted rocks! That is so awesome of people to paint beautiful pictures & display them with Mother Earth for people to enjoy. Love it!
Jul 14, 2024 · Jerad W. H.Such a beautiful drive! Can’t wait to come back. Went with a group of friends and kids. The sites were small and somehow managed to fit 3 cars and 3 tents! We were in site 12 which had access to the river. The river was calm but too fast for the younger kids to play in. The camp site has a picnic table and a fire pit. There is a water pump to fill your water jugs but not meant for drinking. This campground is great for a small family or small groups of friends. We didn’t have any issues with lights or street noises. Very relaxing and cozy. Can’t wait to come back!
Jul 23, 2019 · CocoNice little campground most of them have a view and access to the river but the closer you’re the river the more mosquitoes you’ll have which is a small price for the gorgeous views of the Naches river. The sites are very private and clean.
Jul 12, 2022 · Ivy GI loved the site that we were in… but there’s some pros and cons.Pros- the river is right behind your site(not spots 1-3), garbage services were provided, and vault toilets were clean for what they are. Hosts have don’t. Great job with keeping the sites super clean. And plenty of shade for those hot summer days. Now for my cons(cons for my family that is) - it says that no trailor over like 20-22 ft can really get in…. Unless your in spots 1-3( little to no privacy pretty much in the sun the whole time and no water access) … we were camped in spot 9 and out 16 ft camper was reeeeeeeally tight getting it in but also had a second parking spot for another rig. If the boulders were pushed back a few feet that would open it up a lot, and the site is set up backwards for camper camping(table and fire pit is on the other side of camper. All in all I would go back if I was able to get this spot back. Was definitely a birthday camping trip to remember
Aug 27, 2024 · Carlie DicksonWhat a beautiful spot for camping! The hosts were incredibly kind and flexible allowing my dad and I to change camping spots. The nearby Naches River really adds to the overall atmosphere of the place. Will definitely come back again :)
