Mar 04, 2025 · Scissor MetimbersWe have always tent camped. Finally bought us a camper and was lucky enough to get a spot here at Crockett's. We were kind of stupid on how to set things up. Mr Crockett leveled our camper plus numerous other things we had no idea about. Him and his wife Debbie are very nice. It is so peaceful and serene here. We love it!
May 18, 2023 · Cynthia HammondsThe campground is clean and well kept. They shower rooms and laundry room are well maintained. Everyone is super friendly. The owner is onsite and is genuinely kind and understanding human being. He will also help with whatever he can and will share his knowledge about campers with you to help your time there be more enjoyable. Decently priced. Quiet community. No problems with noise or anyone stealing anything either.
Jul 01, 2019 · Sarah DawsonAbsolutely awesome. Mr. Crockett not only gave us a place to stay, but took my Husband out and got my truck to his place instead of leaving it broke down on the highway. He even refused any kind of compensation for helping us. I can't express how grateful we are nor how wonderful the place was. Hope to be able to visit again.
Aug 16, 2018 · Patty MurphyIt was bad the time I spent there in 2015.....Several drug addicts and users lived and visited there especially their maintenance Man Derek.......But overall it wasn't too bad at first, it was after getting to know everyone around there after several months of working in area traveling with Carpenter's Union working at lock and Dam.It could have been a better experience without the hypocritical attitudes of management and the I'm better than you attitude from locals and campers......I'll not visit that particular campground again.I preferred Energy lake and canal campground..... Good luck.......
