Apr 02, 2025 · Marc SpicerWe had a great time tent camping at De Anza Springs Resort. Everyone, from the permanent residents to the cook in the restaurant to the receptionist, were very friendly and helpful. It was so nice to be able to eat a hot dinner inside from their kitchen restaurant while the wind was blowing fiercely outside. Kids had a lot of fun swimming in the indoor heated pool, and playing with all the games. There were lots of fun trails to explore right from the campground. We wished we had more time to spend there so will have to come back soon!
Jan 27, 2025 · Jennifer GertzWe camped so we're rating the campsite and amenities as opposed to a room and service. Beautiful location. Pools and jacuzzi are really nice. Hiking and biking options straight out of the resort. It seems like the resort should be more crowded, actually. The campsites themselves are just ok. They could easily be spruced up a bit. That said, my wife and I definitely enjoyed ourselves and we plan to return asap. Do not miss out on a Jacumba Hot Springs day pass only 10 minutes away.
Feb 25, 2025 · timtomHi...As a frequent visitor for years now I have become confused on how to use the resort. I have mostly used the facilities as a relaxing day trip from San Diego and I mostly use the gym and swimming pools and while I would wear clothing in the gym while transitioning to the swimming pools I would shower and remove my clothing for a swim before showering and leaving. Now I'm required to leave my clothes on for swimming and showering and the showers have no curtains so you have to shower and wash with your clothing on confusing and while this resort was transitioning from clothing optional the new guests never had a problem with partial clothing optional so I don't understand. Although the roads on the way in will definitely destroy your car it was worth it for me to risk it now it doesn't make any sense not to just go to a hotel in San Diego. I will give it two stars for the gym but obviously that's not worth it and the owners might want to rethink this or redesign it so you don't have to wear clothing in the shower. Since none of the visitors care about clothing optional I think maybe the owners might be religious or political fanatics very uncomfortable.
Apr 15, 2025 · Devan MichaelsLove it here! Very relaxing and enjoyable for the whole family. Haven’t stayed in there hotel or rooms yet just visited for the day. But definitely planning a stay here now 😊
