This suggests that visitors can expect breathtaking vistas, potentially including mountain views, lush vegetation, and the expansive Wyoming sky. It's important to note a cautionary observation from a reviewer who stayed in a "primitive site just up the road" prior to reaching the campground. They mentioned it was "pretty but definitely Grizzly area for sure!" While this specific primitive site may not be part of the main Double Cabin Campground, it serves as a reminder of the importance of wildlife awareness and safety precautions when camping in Wyoming. The fact that the sites are "not too crowded together" further contributes to a relaxed and unconfined camping experience.
- Access to Outfitters: The mention of "more open sites down below the campground" that appear to be used by "horse and mule guides" adds a unique Western flavor to the area and might offer opportunities for guided horseback riding or other outfitting services (though this is not explicitly stated for campground guests).

Double Cabin Campground Reviews
The camp hosts are the best. Cleanest vault toilet I’ve ever seen. This is our favorite place to go camping. So many people come back every year that you make friends with them and look forward to seeing them again the next year. 15 years of memories so far!
Aug 31, 2022 · KK Travis (KK)Campground is nice and tucked in. Most sites have a buffer of trees, creating shade and whatnot. Not too crowded together. Standard amenities like fire rings, picnic tables, vault toilets, potable water, and bear boxes. The real gem here is the incredible scenery. Pictures can't really tell the tale but as you can see, this valley is a thing of beauty. There are more open sites down below the campground but a lot of them look to be for outfitters as there were a lot of horse and mule guides. Truly real life cowboys a workin'! Tons of open range cattle too, so don't freak out at night when you hear them rustling around and mooing like crazy! My bro and I ended up staying in a primitive sure just up the road on the left before you get down to the campground but beware weary, it is pretty but definitely Grizzly area for sure!
