Dubois / Wind River KOA Holiday Reviews
Had a great stay here. Small campground with very cute and cozy cabins. The staff was amazing and the campground is close to the downtown area with many local shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again. The town is home to one of Butch Cassidy's hideouts so definitely check that out when in town. Lots of cool history 👍
Feb 20, 2025 · BKHWe really liked this campground. In fact we liked it so much we stayed an extra week and canceled our next stop. The staff is friendly and helpful, sites are spacious and well maintained. If you travel with kids (we do not) there is so much for them to do including the big indoor pool. The facilities are absolutely immaculate. We also loved the location to walk to town for dinner. Great experience. Highly recommend.
Aug 22, 2024 · Susan MaassSuch a great experience for our whole family. We traveled there from KC MO with three different RVs in mid August (stayed a week). The weather was great, with a beautiful Rivier alongside the campground. The staff were great, kind, informative, and made our experience exceptional. They also provided ATV rentals, and we were able to see some great views.
Oct 08, 2024 · Tommy WWe had a nice stay at this KOA, the staff was very friendly and helpful. My son enjoyed the pool and game room area. The grounds were clean and looked to be well kept up.My only complaint is about the patio sites; some have nice decks, with a really nice patio table and chairs along with a grill while other patio sites have just grass outdoor carpets with no grill and a plain picnic table. Unfortunately I ended up on a patio site with the grass carpet. Either site you get your paying the same price; why? Clearly the sites are not of equal value.I understand on the website it states about the two types of patio sites that are offered, but seems you don’t get a choice between them and charged the same price. I would have gladly paid a lock in fee to have the better patio site if it were available, but the website doesn’t offer you that option.Size of unit doesn’t appear to be an issue because larger units were on the better patio sites.
Aug 22, 2024 · Patrick NewmanAbsolute recommendation! This is an outstanding KOA RV-park at an awesome location, offering all amenities you need, very well run and looked after, clean and modern restrooms/showers, very friendly staff with outstanding service.Just one thing we were not happy with: We could only stay for just one night.
