Driftstone Campground Reviews
We stayed for 5 nights at Driftstone campground near Mt. Bethel PA. We really enjoyed our stay there. The campground was spacious and nicely shaded by large trees. The facility was very well maintained, and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. Some of the utility posts were shared among multiple campsites so extension hoses and power cables were needed. The RV parking is in the grass, and fortunatly it was very dry during our stay though the ground did look to be very firm. Great pool, we enjoyed swimming. We used their kayak shuttle service and also some friends rented a raft. They were very helpful and informative in providing river tips and information. The kayaking on the Delaware River was spectacular, and we saw several Bald Eagles on our 8 mile trip back to Driftstone. They also had a great band (Shaky Moon Band) that had the place really rocking one evening. We will definitely go back again. Fun place and very well managed.
Aug 03, 2024 · Robert WozniakI had went camping for the first time in many years and this had been such a joyous experience. The amenities were outstanding and the staff was very friendly. The campground was cleaner than anything I've seen in my life. This had been the best vacation I have ever experienced and I most definitely will be back in the future.
Jul 23, 2024 · Corbin KoehlerCouldn't find a nicer welcome at this Campground. All the staff from the check in processes and maintenance crew where just so friendly and helpful. We had a site along the river, very spacious yet not too far away that you could not wish your fellow campers a Hello. And the restroom were the cleanest and most maintain that I have ever been in.There is a great store with many need to items and an open barn for indoor activities for poor weather days.We will keep this location on our return list for sure!
May 27, 2024 · wandering_rhoadsJust spent this weekend at this beautiful place with well kept campsites and very clean restrooms! Staff at the office and store are so kind and great! Cars always remained at 5mph while on the roads and everyone camping here is quiet, friendly and respectful, which we enjoyed. It was my first time coming here with my big family. They were so kind to put our campsites all together for a memorable weekend which is much appreciated! We enjoyed the very nice scenery and walk to the fishing and boating dock where we enjoyed some time fishing and observing boaters. Our young ones enjoyed the game room! Electricity and water at each campsite was great! We will definitely be back next year early summer to hopefully use the pool next time.
Sep 11, 2023 · Jackie GomezJust got home from our first stay here and by far one of our favorite places now! Originally we were staying 3 nights but extended one more night because we didn’t want to leave. The only thing I was nervous about was no sewer connection and not knowing what site we got until we arrived (normal protocol). Having no sewer was no problem at all because they offer pump out service at a very reasonable price. Also was very pleasantly surprised to be assigned a premium riverside campsite! It was amazing! Every site there is huge though! They can be a bit muddy as there is not a lot of grassy sites, just dirt/sand and some gravel.Rafting on the Delaware river channel is a must! We didn’t get to rent kayaks while we were there because the water level, though would have loved to.So many fun great activities for kids too. Great grounds for biking w the kiddos as it’s mostly flat land. Pool is huge and beautiful! The staff were all very nice and welcoming. I can’t say enough great things about this place. We will be booking for next year to visit a few times, for sure.
