Grandy Creek Thousand Trails Reviews
We are 1000 Trails members and had never been to this location before. This is a combo 1000 Trails/KOA. We came in on Saturday of Labor Day weekend. It was PACKED! There is tons for families and children to do here. Lots of planned activities as well. This is a great jumping off spot to see Mt Baker and the North Cascades National Park. The employees were friendly and the park was clean. Spots are very close to each other. Our pedestal only had 30 AMP and no sewer. If we come again, will come off season, less crowded.
Sep 03, 2024 · Teresa GildersleeveThis park is beautiful. The staff is very friendly. There’s so much fun stuff for kids to do here! There’s this cool jumping pad that’s free for kids 3 and under. My daughter played her little heart out. Our first time here, and we’ll be coming back for a while. There’s even WiFi available to purchase for your campsite, if you even have time to use it. (WiFi is not streaming or gaming friendly, however data streaming works perfectly fine for me)
Jun 11, 2024 · Andrya LongOne of the best rv experiences I have had! So many great activities and fun to have. The employees are so kind and amazing 10/10. I would recommend this camping experience to everyone. With the speed limit being 5 mpr I was very comfortable walk8ng around with the kids. Not to mention everything was close enough that I didn't need to take my car around. Thank you again for the wonderful experience!
Jul 13, 2024 · Mckayla PetersonWe have a thousand trails membership so you have to start by knowing that. You’ll see thousand trails reviews are typically people hate them and pay retail or like/love them and have a membership.T-Mobile is nonexistent and there are about two TT spots that work for Starlink. We were able to move sites mid-stay into an open Starlink spot. That said, this campground is fantastic. Kids had plenty to do. We picked berries late summer by the entrance gate and around the campground (entrance gate has strawberries). Awesome location close to Cascades (although we were there during wildfires so could only go to the visitor center trails). Diner down the street (Birdsview?) is amazing and has tons for people to do like board games, yard games, sand pit with toy trucks. We found some places within maybe thirty minutes to kayak. Staff are great, they have things going on due to also being a koa with fairly low cost. My kids really loved the cream soda days and Grinch Christmas in July (or something like that).
Jun 29, 2024 · Adrienne ScottThe place is wonderful, there is amazing nature around and the camp itself is in a good location, BUT BUT BUT, organizing a business is 90% of success and with this there are real problems. Registration takes place at a barrier where you need to call and wait until one of the employees arrives; this is not very convenient and even strange. The store is always closed even if the “open” sign is on. The pool outside is icy and although the employees say that the heater is broken and they are waiting for a replacement, this has been happening for several seasons now and it seems no one is going to fix it, and children are not allowed in the hot tub and this is strange, children should freeze and adults should warm up. And even this does not stop the children, and when we came to the pool on Sunday, it was closed for the whole day for chlorination. Why? Why do they do this on a weekend? The jumping pillow is the same as in all KOAs, BUT it’s free on a regular day and $10😳 on weekends. On Thursday and Friday the child was jumping and on Saturday he was kicked out, I have never seen this in any KOA. There are several large excellent clearings around the camp where children could play or walk the dog, BUT they never mow the grass there and this becomes impossible. KOA positions itself as a family camp, but here everything is directed away from the family. It's a shame that this camp disappointed us so much.
