Apr 27, 2025 · Scott FeldmanWe absolutely love the Lazy-A campground and the owners were super-accommodating to our travel changes and our need to move our arrival date twice. We technically stayed after they closed for the season, so we didn’t meet the owners. We did call and were told to select any site. The campground has E/W hookups, fire pits, picnic tables, and an easy in-and-out dump station on the way out. Lazy-A felt like we were camping on a friend’s farm - but without the cows & smells - and with hookups! We stayed on the grassy site near the barn, which was very level. It was peaceful & quiet throughout our stay. It seems they have a lot of music and other activities during the season, and is a good choice for families with the playground, dog park and wide open spaces. We loved our stay here and recommended it to folks looking to camp in this area. We spent our day at Shenandoah National Park, which was about an 1:45 drive from the campground.
Nov 17, 2024 · Deb B.We enjoyed our stay at Lazy A. It is a bit primitive. Parking anywhere on your large lot was hard to figure out but we got it. You do share water source at the site with lot behind you. The water is not great here. It smells bad like metal and is orange in the toilet. From what we have found out, that isn’t just a problem at the campground, it is the area. It was very quiet there for us, back at the creek. There did seem to be some campers that lived there full time and they liked to play their music loud at times. Also, no sewer hook ups, but there is a dump station or they will come to your site and empty tanks or deliver wood. The owners are very sweet and put up with our many questions.
Oct 21, 2024 · Jody WitcherIf you are looking for a family friendly, relaxing spot, THIS IS IT! The owners are absolutely wonderful. Down to even delivering some coffee creamer to your site after forgetting it! Or needing a tool for a repair. Down to earth Folks that make you feel like family coming to stay. Highly recommend and can't wait to return!
Jul 07, 2024 · Jesse BoultonBeautiful campgrounds run by wonderful people ! The couple that run this really make sure you have everything you need and it’s so pretty out here. The peaceful creek has access and it’s such a fun place to go explore. The campsites are wonderful and there was live music at the barn.We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will be coming back every chance we can!!
