Lazydays RV Resort Introduce
For local users in the Tampa area searching for "camping near me," particularly those with RVs, Lazydays RV Resort, located at 6210 County Rd 579, Seffner, FL 33584, USA, offers a well-equipped and amenity-rich experience. Based on recent customer reviews, this resort provides a range of services and features that cater to families, pet owners, and those looking for convenience and activities.
The environment of Lazydays RV Resort is described as a "nice campground," with paved lots that are generally of a good size. However, it's worth noting that shade on the lots is described as "little," which might be a consideration during the hotter Florida months. One significant advantage of its location is its convenience to Tampa. For local users visiting family in the area or wanting easy access to the city's amenities and attractions, Lazydays RV Resort offers a practical base. The resort itself boasts a variety of features designed for comfort and recreation. For families with children, the playground is noted as always being clean, and there are "so many activities for the kids," although specific details of these activities aren't provided. The inclusion of a "heated pool" is a definite plus, allowing for year-round enjoyment. Pet owners will appreciate the "neat" dog park and the availability of a new dog wash facility.
In terms of services, Lazydays RV Resort offers several appealing conveniences. One standout is the "free breakfast for two each night," which seems unusual but is highlighted as a perk for guests. Curbside trash pickup adds to the ease of stay, and the inclusion of cable TV at the sites is another benefit. For practical needs, the resort has a "very nice, well lit, ventilated bathhouse." One reviewer was particularly impressed with the comfort and spaciousness of the toilet seats in the bathhouse, as well as the ample space for electronic devices and the great water flow and hot water for showers, describing it as a "deep spa like shower experience." Laundry facilities are also likely available in an RV resort of this caliber, although not explicitly mentioned in these reviews.
While the resort offers many positives, one reviewer noted that their site was located behind a "very noisy road (Mango Rd)." They suggested that sites located more inside the resort would likely offer a more pleasant stay. This indicates that the noise level might vary depending on the specific site within the resort, which is something local users might want to inquire about when booking. The resort also has a basketball/tennis court for those interested in sports. The dog park is described as a "small, fenced in area," which is still a valuable amenity for those traveling with pets.
The reviews collectively paint a picture of an RV resort that prioritizes convenience and offers a range of amenities suitable for families and pet owners. The proximity to Tampa makes it a practical choice for local stays when visiting family or wanting to explore the city. The free breakfast, cable TV, and curbside trash pickup add to the comfort, while the heated pool, playground, and dog park provide recreational options. The well-regarded bathhouse facilities further enhance the experience. However, potential noise from the adjacent road for some sites is a factor to consider.
For local RV owners searching for "camping near me" that combines convenience with a good range of amenities, Lazydays RV Resort appears to be a strong contender. The availability of full hookups (implied by it being an RV resort), the heated pool, activities for kids, and pet-friendly facilities make it attractive for various types of travelers. Those who value easy access to Tampa will find its location ideal. When booking, local users might want to inquire about the location of their site within the resort to mitigate potential road noise.
To get more specific information about site availability, the full list of activities for kids, the exact hours and offerings of the free breakfast, and a map of the resort to choose a quieter site, local users should contact Lazydays RV Resort directly. They can also inquire about any current promotions or special rates for local residents or longer stays. Understanding these details will help local RVers determine if Lazydays RV Resort is the perfect "camping near me" option for their next getaway or family visit.
In conclusion, Lazydays RV Resort in Seffner, FL, offers a convenient and amenity-rich RV camping experience near Tampa. With features like free breakfast, a heated pool, a playground, and pet facilities, it caters to a wide range of local RV enthusiasts. While some sites may experience road noise, the overall positive reviews and the array of services suggest a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Local users looking for "camping near me" with their RVs should definitely consider Lazydays RV Resort.

Lazydays RV Resort Reviews
We always return here when we have to visit family in the area. They have free breakfast for two each night, curbside trash pickup and cable! So many activities for the kids, we love the heated pool, Exit 10 has great food and the playground is always clean. the dog park is neat and they have a new dog wash.
Dec 17, 2021 · Melissa DobsonNice campground, as much as the location is convenient ( close to Tampa ) our site was behind very noisy road ( Mango Rd). I believe if your site is more inside the resort, your stay will be more pleasant. Good size, paved lots with little shade. Good size pool with very hot jacuzzi. Nice playground for kids and basketball/tennis court. Small, fenced in area for dogs.Very nice, well light, ventilated bathhouse. Impressed with ability of seat to comfortably accommodate a heavier, wider bottom. Plenty of space for multiple electronic devices while enjoying a morning constitutional. Great water flow and ample hot water for a deep spa like shower experience.
May 06, 2021 · KasiaI liked it here 😊I went to find the sun in the morning, it was really nice.I seen a lizard when I was sitting in the patio area. They have some weird tree that we don't have in Michigan. The patio is pretty day and night. It was around 80 but I sat with my feet in the hot tub and it still felt really nice. The people that came in were all friendly. The pool was nice.I like the screen around everything so there's no bugs flying around 😊It was really enjoyable here.
Feb 26, 2022 · jessica colterBecause of Covid-19 we ended up staying at Lazydays for 3.5 weeks rather than the one week that we reserved due to other parks canceling. They lowered the price due to amenities having to close but we still were offered a full breakfast every morning (what a great deal). We were able to look at new Rv's (sure helped with killing time). The dog park is the nicest I've seen anywhere, the restaurant was still open serving excellent food and the staff is always pleasant & helpful! The laundromat was fabulous & the screened pool sure looked nice! We will definitely stay here again
Apr 23, 2020 · Joni HallyWhere do I start....? This place is quite the resort. Heated pool with a restaurant and bar on one side that happy hour starts at 3. 2 dollar beers on tap is dangerous and amazing! The spots are a little tight we have a 35ft rig and there isn't really anywhere to park the truck except the street. The staff is really freaking amazing and nice. The guests are mostly great except onesies and twosies are rude and like to Hoot and holler throughout the night. We finally have securities number so that a plus. Biggest downfall of the park, the beeping from equipment starts at 5am.
