Little Pond Campground Reviews
We have been coming here for a few years now, very relaxing and peaceful, very quiet at night and patrolled. Good hiking all around and bathrooms and kept clean!
Apr 15, 2025 · Marko C.great little campground on quiet lake. good spacing between sites. no electric sites and can get crowded on weekends
Apr 11, 2025 · John DietzWe camp a lot in NY and VT and this is the worst campground we’ve been to in years. Our site was found littered with trash including cannabis wrappers and there was ash on the picnic table. Bathrooms run down, very dirty, not stocked with soap. The place was continuously loud and chaotic, and quiet hours were not enforced. Playground laughably small. Look elsewhere unless you enjoy trash, music, generators, beer pong, and yelling. Oh and this was in October. Absolute zoo.
Oct 13, 2024 · Burnt OnBothEndsWhat a pleasant weekend despite the near death experience getting there. Our group went to Little Pond amid the tail end of Hurricane Debby. We were rerouted to a different road due to closures for downed trees on power lines. We trekked through the mountain for what seemed like forever. The mountain road was narrow, rocky and had water coming downstream in some spots making the drive all the more challenging.Nevertheless we got to the campsite safely. When we arrived, there was no power at the main office, but the gentleman allowed us to go to our campsite and set up. He informed us to come to the office the following day when the rain storm had passed. Navigating the campsite was easy. Each site was decent in size. Enough to accommodate vehicles and tents. What we liked unanimously is that there is some distance between campsites allowing for privacy between the occupants. There was a table at each site along with a firepit for grilling and roasting. The bathrooms were well maintained and had a good supply of toilet paper. Lol. There was hot water on our second day there which allowed us to bathe comfortably in the shower rooms. We did so despite not having any light at the time.Other campers were respectful and friendly toward one another. All in all our experience was great. It was a great weekend to unplug and be with nature. It was also refreshing to see so many kids walking, hiking, biking, playing ball and away from the screens.
