Marsh Campground, located in Elkhart Lake, WI 53020, USA, and reachable at (920) 876-2535 or +1 920-876-2535, offers a unique camping experience. Based on customer reviews, this "nice little campground" is associated with a restaurant, "Three Guys and a Grill" (also referred to as "the lodge"), known for its "awesome food" and "great food and service." This connection provides a distinct advantage for campers seeking both outdoor adventure and convenient meal options.
Immerse Yourself in the Natural Marsh Environment: The name "Marsh Campground" itself suggests a setting characterized by wetland or marshy areas. Such environments are typically rich in biodiversity, attracting a wide variety of wildlife. One reviewer explicitly mentions the diverse wildlife that calls the marsh home, advising visitors to be observant. This indicates that nature enthusiasts and wildlife watchers will find the campground's environment particularly appealing. Marshy areas often support unique plant life and are important habitats for birds, amphibians, and other animals, offering excellent opportunities for nature walks and photography.
Beyond the immediate marsh environment, the campground's location near Elkhart Lake suggests proximity to the lake itself, although direct lake access from the campground is not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews. Elkhart Lake is a well-known recreational area in Wisconsin, offering opportunities for boating, swimming, and other water activities. The broader region around Elkhart Lake is characterized by rolling hills, woodlands, and scenic landscapes, contributing to a pleasant and natural camping backdrop. Campers can likely expect a setting that combines the unique ecology of a marsh with the general beauty of the Wisconsin countryside.

The mention of public restrooms indicates that basic hygiene facilities are available for campers. The fact that "pets are allowed" is a significant amenity for those who enjoy traveling with their furry companions. However, the review also wisely advises keeping an eye on pets due to the presence of local wildlife.
A notable service is the direct connection to "Three Guys and a Grill," which offers "awesome food" and "great food and service." This provides a convenient and highly-rated dining option for campers who may not want to cook all their meals over a campfire. The presence of "plenty of parking" suggests that the campground can accommodate vehicles of various sizes, including those towing camping equipment. Additionally, the availability of "picnic areas" provides designated spaces for enjoying meals outdoors with family and friends.
For families with young children, the presence of a "playground" is a significant feature, offering a dedicated space for kids to play and burn off energy. This amenity enhances the family-friendly appeal of Marsh Campground. Features Catering to Diverse Interests: Marsh Campground appears to offer features that cater to a range of outdoor interests. The mention of "fishing and hunting opportunities" is a major draw for anglers and hunters. The marsh environment itself might offer specific types of fishing and hunting, depending on local regulations and the specific characteristics of the area. Campers interested in these activities should inquire about licenses, seasons, and any specific rules or guidelines related to the campground's location.
The connection to "Three Guys and a Grill" is a unique feature that sets Marsh Campground apart. Having a highly-rated restaurant associated with the campground provides a level of convenience and dining quality that is not always found at camping facilities. The playground caters specifically to families with young children, making it an attractive destination for them.
The pet-friendly policy allows more people to enjoy the camping experience with their beloved animals. However, the cautionary note about the local wildlife underscores the importance of responsible pet ownership while camping in a natural environment. The picnic areas encourage outdoor gatherings and provide a pleasant setting for enjoying meals and socializing.

Marsh Campground Reviews
Nice little campground ran by the restaurant. Awesome food at the lodge
Jun 21, 2022 · Nick HoeftGreat place to visit. Fishing and hunting opportunities, Three Guys and a Grill has great food and service. Plenty of parking, picnic areas to enjoy an afternoon with family and friends. There a playground for the little kids. Public restrooms and pets are allowed, but watch for the wide variety of wildlife that calls the marsh their home.
Apr 03, 2024 · Brian WilliamsMade our reservation in May and late-May the County decided to close off the Sheboygan River and therefore the bridge connecting the campground to the restaurant to the bathroom/shower rooms was closed. Had to drive 1 mile around in order to get to either. No enforcement of anything there as there were numerous guests of campers who parked their camper just off the campground road. Motorcyclists speeding through campground on a closed road to get to the tower. Site 44 is way too short for anyone to get a camper into it. I live in Brown County and they do their County campgrounds right...Sheboygan not-so-much. We attempted to eat at the 3 guys burger and fries restaurant and i had called earlier and they said they didn't take reservations. So, we got there Saturday and there was a 2 hour wait and asked "for future reference" to make a reservation next time. Not sure if this place understands the levity of their comments on the phone.
