The on-site store was convenient and well-stocked with last-minute essentials, and we were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable pricing.Our only minor complaint was the cost of renting golf carts, which seemed a bit pricey, so we did a lot of walking. However, that was a small issue in an otherwise wonderful stay. Overall, we highly recommend Moose Hillock RV Resort for anyone looking for a clean, fun, and family-friendly camping experience!

We stayed from 6/29 to 7/6 of this year and when we first got to the resorts we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff that walked us through the map and where our site was located. When we got to the site, I was greeted by 2 young men that were weed whacking and leaf blowing. They apologized for any inconveniences and said if we needed anything else trimmed back just ask. They were very professional. The site was plenty big enough for our 30-foot camper, truck and Yukon XL. The sites are not on top of each other which is nice for privacy. We rented a golf cart for the week which I recommend due how big the resort is and a great way to keep young children entertained. The pool was clean and very fun. There are 2 slides, one for smaller children and one for older children and adults. The staff throughout our stay were nice and helpful. The arcade was clean and had plenty of games with pool table. They had events every day that were very family friendly such as horse rides, tie dye, 4th of July parade, and movies in the pool. We personally met Edward the owner of the resort multiple times briefly, he gave us recommendations on where to buy and view fireworks and which way to go to avoid traffic. He helped load wood and ice as well. When we were checking out, he helped us return our golf cart and we had a very nice conversation. He is committed to maintaining a clean and professional environment that's very family friendly. We will definitely be returning to this location and plan to go to the other location in the white mountains.

Obviously, not rooms. But the campsites are great! Not the typical RV parking side by side. You get a semi private campsite with usually 2 RVs parked close by, but with a bit of woods in between, rather than a few trees or some grass.Lots of wooded area and places to walk or take the dogs.Huge heated pool with swim-in movie nights. Lots of activities for kids and families, or just sit quietly reading a book and catching up on some sleep.Very clean and well maintained. Good sized camp store for essentials. This is our 3rd year. 2 yrs at Lake George and 1 in NH. We much prefer the NY location, although the NH loc is very similar.Kids have a ball and look forward to the annual trip.

Some of my family members were RV camping at Moose Hillock. We rented a cabin nearby. We joined them during the day for 2 days midweek. The grounds were clean and manicured. The sites were nice with picnic tables, fire pit, and gravel. The pool was great for all of us. We paid a fee to be visitors and were able to access all of the amenities. There was an ice cream place with mini golf right across the street.

Spots are big and surrounded by trees which is so nice coming from beach trip that had no trees. Seemed like we were in the woods. Our spot 220 was an awkward setup for hookups. We had to back up parallel to the road which was up against the trees but then the whole rest of the space was for hanging out. Wouldn’t want that spot again but most others seemed better. Pool was amazing. Seemed a bit chilly at first but was nice to cool off after sweating in the heat. The kids loved the slides. Even our almost 2 yr old line the smaller big slide. Happy they didn’t have height restrictions like some places. She was able to enjoy with all the big kids. Plenty of seating. Thursday night movie was a big hit with kids. Wasn’t overly packed when we went in Aug not sure why. The food by pool was mediocre. Save $ and don’t buy anything except ice cream! Store was good and arcade was nice break from sun. Close drive to Lake George and shopping. Overall would recommend!!
