Oak Grove Resort Campground Reviews
Great Campground! Our family always has a wonderful time here! We stay in the cabins! Cute and spacious for what they are. I wish they had a small bathroom attached to them but the short walk to the VERY clean public restrooms is only a minor inconvenience. This place is always super clean and you can tell everyone that works there takes pride in their work! The Christian music in the bathrooms is a nice touch :). The pool is great and they have a hot tub. Playground is great, and the goats are fun too!I think the price is worth the amenities that are included, as well as the cleanliness and quiet feel. Be sure to come with wood for a fire! I think the store and wood are a bit overpriced - but then again you are paying for convenience!Overall I would definitely recommend coming here!
Jul 30, 2024 · David BouwmanWe were lucky to find an open spot for our RV at this resort. The location had clean bathrooms, clean showers, a pool, and so much more. Everything seemed brand new at the resort. The seasonal people, who have been there for years, were friendly and personable. Our dog loved the dog park area, too. The resort has cabins and a new barn that sleeps 18 (it's like a new house inside). The only concern was the tight aisles and spots for our RV. We were lucky to have an empty spot across from us to make it easier to back in. We would stay there again when in Holland!
Jul 04, 2024 · Brett FranzenWe love staying here. It has become tradition for my family of 3. We've stayed here once a year for the last 11 years. This park seems to embrace the concept of constantly striving for a better park experience. Ever year we notice park upgrades, improvements and additions. This campground prides themselves on cleanliness and it shows in the pool, common space, playground, and in the bathrooms/showers stalls. Can't wait to get back next season!
Jul 15, 2024 · Brandon HoardThis is our third time camping here. I can’t believe I haven’t left a review before now. This place is immaculate! Gorgeous landscaping, beautifully clean, and friendly and helpful staff and hosts. It has everything. A peace and quiet, but with ALL the amenities. Pool, Hot Tub, Laundry, Bike Rentals, Firewood, Propane, Full Hookups, Dog Park, Playground, and an adorable “Goat-tel” where you can watch and feed goats. It is a mile from the beach and less to lots of restaurants, a general store, a bar, and ice cream. It is a great alternative to the local State Parks where the extra cost brings a ton of benefit.
Aug 22, 2024 · Scott RolandIn my almost 40 years of camping this was THE best campground I've ever stayed at!! Full tree cover on just about every site. About 10-15 degrees cooler than the surrounding area. They have a pool, hot tub, many showers(all perfectly clean), cabins and full size mobile home for rent. They offer bikes for rent, propane, firewood and some amenities for sale. They even have an event space for rent. The building is stylized as a big red barn. Pictures would do it justice. The campground is 3-4 minutes from lake Michigan(and Holland state park, no tree cover btw) and a short walk to lake Macatawa. Also ADA accessible. You could see several generations of families enjoying themselves. Pictures would not do justice.
