Outpost RV Park & Campground Reviews
Cute little campground. They have a pool, pickle ball court, and a cute little playground for kids. They also have a nice bathhouse and laundry area. The owner, Mona, is absolutely amazing. Friendly staff and great campground to stay at.
Dec 20, 2024 · Lindsay LockhartCamp here several times a year. Awesome staff who are friendly and helpful. Great place to take the kids with a playground and pool. Shower house and laundry area for campers.
Nov 12, 2024 · Jana JohnsonOutpost RV and Campground is a big rig friendly RV park. We stayed in a 45' 5th wheel for a month and had no issues navigating the park. The owner and staff members were friendly and had many suggestions on things to do and see in the area.We had an issue with our power pedestal, and the staff resolved the problem immediately. The sites are reasonably level and include a fire pit and picnic table with a mix of back-in and pull-through sites. The sites range in length, so mention your rig size when making a reservation. Most all sites have ample room from side to side as well. The water has good pressure but a low flow rate. The campground is connected to city water, and the water quality is excellent. There is a small fenced-in dog park, pool, and playground area. In addition, there are plenty of places to walk your four-legged friends. The restrooms and laundry facility are a little dated but were always clean and well stocked. The park enforces quiet times and is very quiet. The only downside is there is not a dog leash policy, so some campers allow their four-legged friends to roam out of their designated areas. The park is located near some fantastic hiking trails and a few small towns. This location has good cell service. We used an amplified antenna, and the following speeds were observed. AT&T 10 Mbps down, 5 Mbps up. T-Mobile was 9 Mbps down, 5 Mbps up, and Verizon was 100+ Mbps down and 50 Mbps up.If this review was helpful, please give it a thumbs up. Thanks
Sep 23, 2022 · Dave CiprianiWe stopped here for one night on the way home, mid November. We’d come back again! Level sites, great playground for all, pool (closed), dog park. It’s about 4 miles off I64 exit 133 and roads are nice and easy to get to park.Price was great too, even for monthly.
Nov 17, 2021 · Laurel HendricksonWe liked it but were not given notice that bathrooms and showers were closed. I think that needs to be up front. A flyer was attached to our map but recommend a verbal as we were surprised by it. It is due to SARS2 so hopefully will be lifted soon. Otherwise it's a very nice campground. Level spots. Most are paved. Playground, but closed also. Rec area with ping pong. Closed. Very clean.
