Port Lavaca / Matagorda Bay KOA Holiday Reviews
Absolutely wonderful KOA! The grounds and amenities are very well kept. Right on the bay with lots of space to fish or sit and watch the water. Heated pool, splash pad and lots of games for the whole family. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They come pickup your garbage from your site every morning, nice dog park, propane refills and more. This is the best KOA we have stayed at.
Jan 12, 2025 · Amalie BjorkFishing was great, even though we couldn't catch any fish because of the size limit. Bay, Splash Pad, & Playground were amazing!! One catch though, is that if you use coins for the arcade games only, your money is wasted!! 😞 (That's what happened to us.) But what slightly turned it around was the little prize machine near the arcade entrance doors. If you put in 50¢, you can get it back. (But it wouldn't work again..) Lastly, the KOA team was so friendly & helpful. Recommended place!

Mar 04, 2025 · Brian cornwallBeautiful, well maintained, clean. KOA on Matagorda Bay. Beautiful beach. Breazy but nice in the heat. Hot tub, heated pool. Plenty of games to play, etc. Staff is very devoted. Location is off the beaten path, which is great!. Though 15min away is Wal-Mart & town. The other direction, 5min, is a very nice Dollar General.
Feb 25, 2025 · Cher BinkowskiFriendly staff in a great location. Great lighted fishing pier. Lots of stuff for kiddos to do. Laundry facilities were clean, spacious, and plenty of washers and dryers available.
