With contact available at (402) 723-5227 or the mobile number +1 402-723-5227, this RV park stands out for its meticulous maintenance, thoughtful amenities, and friendly service, making it an excellent choice for both overnight stays and longer visits.
The reviews from actual customers paint a clear picture of what to expect at Prairie Oasis RV Park. One guest described it as an "Excellent squeaky clean RV Park!" This emphatic statement immediately highlights a key feature that sets this campground apart: an exceptional level of cleanliness. For RV travelers, maintaining a clean and sanitary environment is paramount, and Prairie Oasis RV Park evidently excels in this aspect, providing peace of mind and a comfortable stay.
Beyond cleanliness, the park also offers well-maintained sites. The reviewer noted "Very nice sites, gravel," indicating that the parking areas are level, well-drained, and easy to navigate for RVs of various sizes. Gravel sites are often preferred by RVers for their stability and ease of setup. This attention to the quality of the sites contributes to an overall positive experience.
Prairie Oasis RV Park goes beyond basic RV parking by providing a range of amenities to enhance the stay. The presence of a "pond" suggests a scenic natural element, potentially offering opportunities for leisurely walks, birdwatching, or simply enjoying a peaceful waterside view. The inclusion of "swings" points towards family-friendly features, providing a space for children to play and enjoy the outdoors. "Picnic tables" at each site or in common areas offer convenience for outdoor dining and gatherings. Furthermore, a "volleyball court" provides an opportunity for recreation and socializing among guests, adding a fun and active dimension to the camping experience.
A significant advantage of Prairie Oasis RV Park is its convenient location "Right off the highway." This accessibility is particularly beneficial for travelers who are en route to other destinations and need a comfortable and easy-to-reach overnight stop. However, despite its proximity to the highway, the reviewer also noted that it is "quiet," indicating that the park is well-situated to minimize noise disturbance, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep for weary travelers.
Another positive review comes from a traveler who stayed for a single night while journeying across the country. Their experience highlights the park's accommodating "later office hours," which was a crucial factor for their late arrival. This demonstrates a commitment to customer service and understanding the needs of travelers who may not always adhere to strict schedules. The reviewer also echoed the sentiment about the cleanliness of the facilities, further reinforcing this key attribute of Prairie Oasis RV Park.
Although this particular guest arrived late and departed early, they still noted that the park "appeared to be a pleasant place to stay for a while," suggesting a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere that made a positive impression even during a brief visit. This speaks to the overall ambiance and the care taken in maintaining the park.
An intriguing detail from this review is the mention of "cinnamon rolls" being available, although the guest unfortunately missed the opportunity to purchase some due to the office hours. This suggests that Prairie Oasis RV Park may offer additional services or treats that go beyond standard RV park amenities, adding a local flavor and a touch of hospitality that can make a stay even more enjoyable. The guest's regret at missing them and their intention to purchase some on a future visit serves as a subtle yet effective form of positive feedback and potential "promotional information" for this delightful offering.
The reviewer concluded by stating, "I would certainly have purchased some! I would stay here again if the opportunity presented itself," indicating a high level of satisfaction and a clear intention for a return visit. This strong endorsement from a cross-country traveler underscores the appeal and reliability of Prairie Oasis RV Park as a preferred "camping near me" option for those in the Henderson, Nebraska area or passing through.
For local residents with RVs who are looking for a nearby getaway, Prairie Oasis RV Park offers a clean, quiet, and well-equipped destination. The combination of essential amenities like gravel sites and hookups, coupled with recreational features such as the pond, swings, volleyball court, and picnic tables, provides a balanced and enjoyable environment for a relaxing stay. The welcoming owners, as highlighted in the reviews, further enhance the experience, making guests feel valued and comfortable.
While the reviews primarily focus on the experience of RV travelers, the presence of amenities like picnic tables and the quiet atmosphere might also appeal to those considering tent camping if the park allows it. Local users interested in tent camping should contact Prairie Oasis RV Park directly to inquire about the availability and suitability of their sites for tents.
In conclusion, Prairie Oasis RV Park in Henderson, Nebraska, stands out as an "excellent squeaky clean RV Park" with very nice gravel sites, a peaceful environment despite its convenient highway access, and a range of appealing amenities including a pond, swings, picnic tables, and a volleyball court. The welcoming owners and the potential for delightful treats like homemade cinnamon rolls further enhance its appeal. Prairie Oasis RV Park Reviews
Excellent squeaky clean RV Park! Very nice sites, gravel. Pond, swings, picnic tables, volleyball court. Right off the highway, but quiet. Really a nice place!
Apr 05, 2025 · Joy SeekerWe stopped here for one night in October while traveling from Oregon to Maine. It was the only RV park we stayed at during the trip that had later office hours. The owner was very welcoming and the facilities were clean. It was close to dark when we arrived and we had to depart early the next day so we didn't get the opportunity to explore the campground. It appeared to be a pleasant place to stay for a while. I didn't know about the cinnamon rolls until after the office had closed and we left the next morning before they opened. I would certainly have purchased some! I would stay here again if the opportunity presented itself.
Nov 02, 2024 · Terry GriffisOwner was super welcoming. His daughter (assuming) was very friendly as well and recommended the cinnamon rolls that they had for sale. A must have! It was a great way to kick off our morning drive to WY.
Oct 09, 2024 · Logan CayeThis was by far the best RV park of our 9-day trip. Super clean and very tidy, the grounds were lovely. There was cornhole and horseshoes out on the greens by a very sweet pond. A few patio swings were placed out by the pond so you could watch the fireflies in the evening. Really clean showers and restroom facilities. I hope I get an opportunity to visit there again.
Jul 21, 2024 · MJ HuertaPrairie Oasis is ranked in the top two of all the RV parks we have visited in our rv’ing history. It is immediately apparent the park is run by people who really care about their guests comfort. Their pull through sites are easy to access and utilities are within easy reach. Amenities include outdoor activities for those who want to make new friends in the travel world (or just spend time with family), very clean restrooms, and a little country type store that offers top quality beef for sale and THE BEST cinnamon rolls I have ever tasted. The overall appearance of the park is very well maintained and offers a beautiful country setting.
