River Bay Premier Camping Resort Introduce
Looking for a "camping near me" experience that's more about fun and socializing than quiet solitude? River Bay Premier Camping Resort, located at W1147 River Bay Rd, Lyndon Station, WI 53944, USA, might be just what you're seeking. Based on recent customer reviews, this resort offers a lively atmosphere with a range of amenities and a strong sense of community.
The environment at River Bay Premier Camping Resort is described as being in a "good location not too far from town," suggesting convenient access to local amenities while still providing a camping setting. However, it's important to note that the campsites are reported to be "small and close together," which contributes to the social atmosphere but might not appeal to those seeking a secluded natural experience. One reviewer explicitly states, "If you are looking for a quiet serene camping experience in the woods, this isn’t for you. Come here for the party, not for an evening in nature." This candid feedback helps set expectations for the type of environment you can expect.
In terms of services, River Bay Premier Camping Resort appears to be well-equipped. It boasts a "well equipped camp store," making it convenient to purchase necessities or forgotten items. The resort also offers "clean bathrooms and a clean pool at a great temperature," which are significant positives for camper comfort. For dining and socializing, there is a bar/restaurant on-site that serves "tasty food." Additionally, the staff is consistently praised for being "so nice and helpful." One reviewer specifically mentioned the "absolutely delicious" fish fry. The resort also seems to host entertainment, as a "band on Saturday night was pretty fantastic," indicating opportunities for social gatherings and entertainment.
The features of River Bay Premier Camping Resort lean towards creating a fun and social camping experience. The presence of a clean pool is a major draw for many campers, especially families. The on-site bar/restaurant provides a convenient place to eat and socialize without leaving the resort. The live band on at least one night of the week adds to the lively atmosphere. The friendly nature of both the staff and the other campers is also a notable feature, with reviewers mentioning meeting "lots of fun people" and that "the campers we all so super friendly too." However, as mentioned earlier, the small and close campsites are a defining feature that contributes to the social vibe but detracts from a sense of privacy or immersion in nature.
Based on the reviews, River Bay Premier Camping Resort seems to cater to "large groups who like to stay up late." This reinforces the idea that the atmosphere is more geared towards socializing and enjoying activities rather than quiet relaxation in nature. If you're looking for a place to have a fun time with friends and family, enjoy amenities like a pool and on-site food and entertainment, this could be a great option.
There is no specific promotional information mentioned in the provided reviews. However, the positive comments about the fish fry and the live band suggest that these might be regular offerings or popular events at the resort. To find out about any current promotions, upcoming events, or specific rates, it would be best to contact River Bay Premier Camping Resort directly.

Jul 23, 2024 · Chloe NeimsWe had a great time camping here!! All the staff is so nice and helpful the fish fry was absolutely delicious! The band on Saturday night was pretty fantastic too. We met lots of fun people and we will 💯 be back!Such a fun place and the campers we all so super friendly too
Jul 29, 2024 · Tifanie Nielsenworst worst worst experience ever. They gave us a lot that floods and is all mud! Every thing was mud. I walked around and everyone else was fine but our lot which i can see the knew it floods because they separated it with orange plastic. I complained and they couldn’t do anything. We left early it was so bad. Also the loud NOISE!! had the club on one side blasting music til 1 am and other campers on the other side just as loud as the bar singing in microphones screaming and being so loud. I tried calling the office. I cannot imagine I paid to have this experience . They need to offer discount or something because you’re running a business and you cant treat paying customers like this!
Jul 05, 2024 · chimedzaya batsaikhanThe cabins are great. We stayed in the condo cabin and it fit all 6 of us just fine and there could have been room for more. There's options to do a lot of activities around the area or just go sit at the pool or the nice dive bar they have onsite. Everyone is super nice and we love it there!
Jun 04, 2024 · KaitlynPros: the food at the bar was handmade, not dumped out of a bag into a fryer.Cons: everything else.A sign above the bar proclaims, "I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either." That sums up their approach to customer service. From the rudeness of the staff to a cabin that was equipped with a coffee maker but no mugs, this place just got worse at every turn. The beds were miserably uncomfortable. There was no way to plug in a CPAP machine near the bed. Our cabin had mice and spiders because it hadn't been swept thoroughly in some time. I don't mind bringing my own linens but wish they would have said to bring mugs, dish soap, and everything else too. This is definitely a place that caters to seasonal campers (they seemed like they were having fun -- good for them) and treats overnighters as a nuisance.Look, we are seasoned campers and we know we're not getting the Ritz Carlton for these rates. And I have to say, their prices were reasonable given the location and season. But large political signs behind the check-in counter signal that some kinds of people are not welcome here. Do you want my money or not? It's a stupid business move to alienate half of your potential clientele by posting your politics. We checked out early and ate the loss. Next time, I'll go somewhere that appreciates my business.
