Buckhead Mobile Home Estates Introduce
For local users searching within the "RV Parks Near Me" category in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Buckhead Mobile Home Estates, located at 2890 Hacienda Dr, Fayetteville, NC 28306, requires a very cautious and thorough consideration based on recent and concerning customer reviews. While the platform category suggests a search for RV parks, the information available pertains to a mobile home park, and the experiences shared by residents indicate potential significant drawbacks that may also affect any RV parking arrangements, should they be offered. You can contact them at (910) 425-7339 or +1 910-425-7339 for any direct inquiries; however, it is crucial to be aware of the issues raised by current residents.
The overwhelming sentiment expressed in the available reviews revolves around substantial and frequent increases in lot rent at Buckhead Mobile Home Estates. One long-term resident, who lived in the park for seven years, detailed a concerning pattern of escalating costs. Starting at a lot rent of $260, it progressively increased to $290, then $360, followed by $434, and is now reportedly at $508. This represents a near doubling of the lot rent over a seven-year period, indicating a significant and potentially unsustainable financial burden for residents. The reviewer poignantly described feeling "oppressed" by these increases, highlighting the severe impact on their ability to afford essential needs like asthma medication versus housing costs. This paints a picture of a financially stressful living environment.
Another review corroborated this issue, stating that the lot rent for a single wide mobile home had risen to $497.00, with an additional $16.00 "convenience fee." For a double wide, the rent was reported as $508.00, also with the added convenience fee. This consistency across multiple accounts strongly suggests that the escalating lot rent is not an isolated incident but a consistent and concerning trend within Buckhead Mobile Home Estates. The reviewer explicitly advises potential residents to "be aware that this place will stress you out before you get to enjoy your home," underscoring the significant negative impact of these financial pressures on the residents' quality of life.
Furthermore, the reviews indicate that these repeated rent increases are prompting a significant number of residents to consider leaving the community. The second reviewer mentioned that "many residence are deciding to go ahead and move," suggesting a widespread dissatisfaction with the management's pricing policies. Additionally, a group of residents has reportedly contacted "David" to sell their mobile homes, indicating a desire to exit the park entirely. This level of resident attrition and the active attempts to sell homes within the community should serve as a serious warning to anyone considering moving into Buckhead Mobile Home Estates, whether in a mobile home or potentially with an RV.
The sentiment expressed by the residents is one of feeling exploited, with one reviewer stating, "Remember they are in the business for their families well being not yours. Don't go broke paying someone for their lot, let the place go empty." This passionate plea suggests a deep sense of unfairness and a belief that the management's priority is solely their own financial gain, potentially at the expense of the residents' well-being. This kind of environment could foster a negative community atmosphere and potentially lead to further stress for anyone residing in the park.
Considering the platform category "RV Parks Near Me," local users need to carefully assess if a mobile home park with such significant issues related to rent increases and resident dissatisfaction would be a suitable option for RV parking. While some mobile home parks do allocate spaces for RVs, often on a shorter-term basis, the underlying management practices and the overall environment of the park are crucial factors to consider. The reviews for Buckhead Mobile Home Estates paint a picture of financial instability and resident distress, which could negatively impact any RV stay, regardless of its duration.
Information regarding the environment, services, and features of Buckhead Mobile Home Estates that might be relevant to RV users is severely lacking in the provided reviews. The focus is entirely on the escalating lot rent and its impact on mobile home owners. There is no mention of the physical layout of the park, the condition of the grounds, or any amenities that might be available to residents or potential RV guests. It is unknown if there are designated RV spaces, what types of utility hookups (electricity, water, sewer) might be available, or if there are any common facilities such as restrooms, showers, or laundry rooms accessible to RVers.
Given the strong negative feedback concerning the management's pricing policies and the resulting stress and exodus of mobile home residents, it would be prudent for RV users to exercise extreme caution when considering Buckhead Mobile Home Estates. The potential for unpredictable and significant increases in rental fees could also apply to RV spaces, making it a financially risky option. Moreover, a community experiencing such widespread dissatisfaction might not offer a welcoming or stable environment for temporary RV stays.
There is no promotional information available for Buckhead Mobile Home Estates in the provided reviews. The experiences shared by residents serve as a strong deterrent rather than an enticement. The lack of any positive feedback regarding the park's management, environment, or services, coupled with the serious concerns about escalating costs, paints a negative picture that prospective RV renters should heed.
For local users actively searching for "RV Parks Near Me" in Fayetteville, NC, it is strongly recommended to thoroughly investigate other options before considering Buckhead Mobile Home Estates. The consistent and significant increases in lot rent, the resulting financial stress on residents, and the reports of people moving out due to these issues are serious red flags. While it is possible that the park might offer RV spaces, the overall environment and the management's apparent disregard for affordability and resident well-being could lead to a negative experience. It would be wise to prioritize RV parks with more positive and stable reputations.
In conclusion, the available information regarding Buckhead Mobile Home Estates presents a concerning picture of a mobile home park with a history of substantial and repeated lot rent increases, causing significant financial stress and prompting residents to leave. For local users in the "RV Parks Near Me" category, this information should serve as a strong warning. Without any positive feedback or details about RV-specific amenities, and with the overwhelming negative sentiment regarding the park's management and affordability, it would be advisable to seek alternative RV parking options in the Fayetteville, NC area.

Buckhead Mobile Home Estates Reviews
I have lived in Buckhead for seven years and the lot rent keep increasing. I paid $260, it increased to $290, then $360, next $434, now they are asking for $508. I can't believe how oppressed I have been just to rent a lot. No mother or father should have to decide between their asthma medicine or lot rent. If I continue to live here it is going to cost me my life trying to pay them and the healthcare system. I wish I would have never moved here!

Apr 23, 2025 · Boss CurrieWas told prior to applying that they could get us in ASAP when we applied…Then applied, paid $25 for a non refundable application fee and told us to wait for a call back in 3-5 business days…those business days came and went, and never got a call back if I was approved or denied. Tried calling their office, those ladies run their own hours different than what they post on their door or website so, good luck. Even drove out there to meet them face-to-face and was told they need 200 applicants before they can call anyone back. Needs a 0/5 stars.
May 12, 2023 · Alyssa SpasianoThe neighbors were friendly people and I never felt unsafe. The park area is very nice for young kids and basketball court is popular with older kids/teens. The staff was friendly to me. Some neighbors are louder than others but still overall a pretty quiet neighborhood.
Jun 06, 2018 · V DrakeMy husband and I have been living here for 5 years. Under the last ownership team the park was better than it is now. The new owners have promised better sercurity, plus. Well the new owners have FAILED!! This is a gated community when the gates actually work. There is NO Sercurity guards on site!! We pay for this each month. The lawn maintenance company that they have is worthless. I personally have to weed eat around our house, when we pay for this to be done. The office manager is fantastic,he truly cares for and about the property and it's residents. Otherwise I have nothing but negative things to say about this mobile home park.
