May 15, 2024 · Marina BeanMy very old and wonderful dog loves this place as it is easy for him to walk down to the calm waters and paddle around a bit. We always come down early from Idaho and enjoy the sunrise
Aug 17, 2023 · Dana “Vastman” PearsonLove the easy access and it is a few miles from town!! No camping unfortunately. Great for a short get away, it is close to the highway though so not great for littles & pets. Short leash works!!! Be safe out there waves get big sometimes !
Mar 05, 2020 · Cindy LarotThis State Park on the Oregon side of the Columbia River has fantastic views whether you are looking across the river to the Washington scenery or along the Oregon river front but perhaps the view upstream where the river curves between both sides of the waterway as you look towards HWY 12 is the most spectacular view this is a great family place as well as an place for individuals to come camp out or enjoy RV outings there is a great beach for swimming and you can catch some nice fish too as well as a great place for getting your tan without anyone bothering you about being light skinned or what your body shape is there is daily maintenance of the park grounds, an 2 unisex restroom but be sure to bring your camping food and other items an make sure you have gas because the closest small convinance store is about 10 miles away an a bit on the costly side for just your basic items an the closest gas station is a good 15 or miles away an there is no free running water unless you have some kind of a water purifying system which are the only drawbacks to what I consider a place that everyone young and old would definitely enjoy regardless what kind of lifestyle is your preference your bound to find someone like yourself there in due time or invite someone to come along with you or better yet an group of people that you know or others that you may have met online so you can all get together and make new friends and enjoy the beauty of nature that surround you
