Star Gazer Glamping Village Introduce
Are you searching for "camping near me" and yearning for an experience that elevates traditional camping with a touch of luxury and unique charm? Look no further than Star Gazer Glamping Village, nestled in Sevierville, Tennessee. While the term "camping near me" often conjures images of tents and sleeping bags, glamping offers a delightful alternative, blending the allure of the outdoors with the comforts of home. Star Gazer Glamping Village aims to provide just that, offering a distinctive lodging experience for locals and travelers alike.
Located at 3209 Line Springs Rd, Sevierville, TN 37862, USA, Star Gazer Glamping Village presents itself as an opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Tennessee without sacrificing modern conveniences. You can reach them at (865) 446-0773 or their mobile number, +1 865-446-0773, for inquiries and bookings.
Based on available information, including firsthand accounts from previous guests, it's crucial to approach Star Gazer Glamping Village with a balanced perspective. While the accommodations themselves seem to align with the online depictions, offering precisely as pictured tents and amenities, the surrounding environment presents a notable consideration for potential visitors.
One recurring point in customer feedback highlights the location's proximity to a significantly busy intersection. This high traffic volume reportedly impacts the tranquility and sense of privacy that one might typically associate with a nature-based getaway. The noise from the highway is a factor that some guests found disruptive, detracting from the peaceful ambiance they anticipated. This is an important aspect to consider if you prioritize a secluded and quiet environment for your camping experience.
Safety is another point raised in the reviews, stemming from the campground's location adjacent to a busy road. While individual units are equipped with security features like padlocks and cables, some guests expressed a feeling of unease due to the accessibility of the area. This is a subjective concern, but it's worth noting for those who place a high emphasis on feeling completely secluded and secure in their natural surroundings.
On a more positive note, several guests have described their overall stay as "very pleasant" and the glamping experience as "excellent." The hosts are consistently praised for their professionalism, suggesting a commitment to guest satisfaction and service. This positive feedback indicates that the operational aspects and guest interactions are likely to be smooth and efficient.
However, some areas for improvement have been identified in the customer reviews. Cleanliness appears to be an area where attention is needed. Specific mentions include uncleanliness behind the dust bin, an uncleaned dog crate (a significant concern given potential health risks), dog hair on furniture, and an uncleaned barbecue. The shower was also noted as not being thoroughly clean, and the absence of a toilet brush was mentioned.
Furthermore, practical considerations regarding storage and organization within the units have been raised. Guests have pointed out a lack of space for storing clothes and hanging washcloths and dishwashing cloths. Suggestions for enhancements include under-bed drawers and hooks in the shower and kitchen areas to improve functionality and convenience for guests.
The view from the location is described as "amazing," which is a significant draw for those seeking scenic beauty during their stay. However, this positive aspect is somewhat counteracted by the presence of storage containers that some guests found visually unappealing, creating an "eye sore." This highlights a potential conflict between the natural beauty of the surroundings and the practical necessities of running a campground.
Considering the "camping near me" category and the desire for readily available services and goods, it's important to understand what Star Gazer Glamping Village offers beyond the accommodation itself. While the reviews primarily focus on the lodging experience and the immediate environment, further information regarding specific services, such as on-site convenience stores, organized activities, or equipment rentals, would be beneficial for local users exploring their options. It's advisable to inquire directly about these aspects when booking.
In summary, Star Gazer Glamping Village offers a glamping experience in Sevierville, TN, with accommodations that appear to match their online representation. The hosts are noted for their professionalism. However, potential guests should be aware of the campground's location at a busy intersection, which may impact the desired tranquility and sense of privacy. Cleanliness within the units and the aesthetic impact of storage containers are areas that have been highlighted for potential improvement. The "amazing view" is a significant positive attribute. For local users searching for "camping near me," Star Gazer Glamping Village presents a unique option, but it's recommended to weigh the convenience and comfort of glamping against the potential drawbacks of the location and to inquire about specific services and amenities to ensure it aligns with your expectations.
For those in the local area considering a glamping getaway, Star Gazer Glamping Village provides a different kind of "camping near me" experience. It's a step up from traditional camping, offering furnished tents and amenities. However, based on recent feedback, it's crucial to manage expectations regarding the ambiance and cleanliness. If you value convenience and are willing to potentially trade some tranquility for accessibility, and if the hosts address the cleanliness concerns, Star Gazer Glamping Village could be a viable option to explore within the "camping near me" category. Remember to contact them directly at (865) 446-0773 or +1 865-446-0773 for the most up-to-date information on availability, services, and any ongoing improvements.

Star Gazer Glamping Village Reviews
Tent and amenities precisely as pictured. However, location is sub-optimal—it’s at an extremely busy intersection (high traffic of highway isn’t discernible from a map, but it’s quite loud). Because of proximity to the highway, there isn’t a sense of tranquility or privacy, and we did not feel 100% safe staying in a tent in such a busy area, despite the padlock and cable. Again, photos on website are accurate, but this is not a “tucked away up in nature” type of glamping experience.
Apr 21, 2025 · Hannah SmolarOverall, this was a very pleasant stay. Excellent glamping experience and the hosts are very professional. Cons: the unit was not very clean - we had to move the dust bin because the plugs for the coffee machine was located behind it. It was filthy behind the dust bin. The dog crate was not cleaned (keep the current contagious dog illness which is on the news in mind), all the furniture were full of dog hair also. The barbeque was not cleaned. The shower was not clean There is no toilet brush. There is no space to put your clothes, hang your wash cloths and dishwashing cloths. Suggestion: under-bed drawers, hooks in shower for wash cloths, hooks in kitchen for dish cloths. The view is amazing, but the storage containers was really an eye sore.
Dec 26, 2023 · Desere KuhlWe had a great time on our stay. We weee in the Galileo tent. It was so well stocked. The beds were comfortable and all the amenities were provided. It was a chilly rainy night and the heat worked perfect. We are looking forward to visiting again.
Oct 11, 2023 · Manny RodriguezThe tents were nice in itself. But location was bad due to it being right at the road of a main section and it was noisy. The heat didn't adequately heat it for 40s Temps at night and we froze .It was cold. It wasn't exactly what we were expecting but it wasn't bad if it had been further away from traffic and warmer conditions at night. The tent was beautiful clean very nice set up inside and porch area as well. Location and heating were the only problem for us.
Nov 13, 2024 · Lacy RussellThe tents are well appointed. Ours was reasonably clean and very nice inside. We loved the general store and coffee shop within walking distance and the location is a short hop, skip, and a jump from wherever you want to visit, whether it is Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. The barbecue grills and the fire pit are well thought out. As far as the tents themselves, I'd give them 5 stars and I would happily stay there again, if it weren't for the location.I read the reviews. I knew the property was on an intersection and that some had mentioned the traffic and noise. We've stayed in properties with those types of reviews before and have fared pretty well with a little planning ahead, but I underestimated exactly how major the road that passes by the property is.First of all, the traffic absolutely never stops. During the day, there is so much traffic and noise that you can't hear the television or have a conversation without raising your voice. Forget about taking a nap after a long hike. The traffic and the noise stay pretty steady until about 10-11 pm. At which point, it slowed down enough for us to be able to fall asleep and sleep reasonably well, except for the folks with the loud cars and trucks driving up and down, up and down, up and down the road at about 0230 in the morning over the weekend. During the week, there was less "drag-racing" noise, but morning traffic picks up at promptly 0615, so if you are a light sleeper, plan on getting up about then. The owners were extremely professional and communicated clearly and often, the check in and check out process was a breeze and I really, really wish I could leave a better review. If they picked those tents up and moved them somewhere quieter, I would easily stay over and over again. Unfortunately, the proximity to 321 and the noise is just insurmountable for me.
