Terra Rose Campsite Introduce
Looking for a "camping near me" experience that offers a blend of natural beauty and family-friendly amenities? We'd like to introduce you to Terra Rose Campsite, located at 14795 Strawberry Ridge Rd, Gravette, AR 72736, USA. Based on the reviews from fellow campers, Terra Rose Campsite appears to be a private and scenic location with a focus on providing a welcoming environment, especially for families with children.
The environment at Terra Rose Campsite is described as "beautiful" and "private," suggesting a tranquil and potentially secluded setting. One reviewer mentioned the presence of "woods" and "a pond to fish in," indicating opportunities for enjoying nature and engaging in recreational activities like fishing. The fact that one group had the "place all to ourselves" during their visit hints at the spaciousness and perhaps the varying occupancy levels depending on the time of year. Another camper noted that the camp is "both quiet and beautiful," highlighting its potential for a peaceful retreat.
In terms of facilities, Terra Rose Campsite is noted to have "nice facilities." One reviewer mentioned feeling safe during their solo car camping trip. While specific details about amenities like restrooms, showers, or fire pits aren't universally detailed, the positive mention suggests that the essential facilities are well-maintained. The hosts also seem to foster a community atmosphere, as indicated by them "starting a group fire," although one group retired early and missed it. This suggests a willingness to create social opportunities for campers.
A significant feature of Terra Rose Campsite that stands out is the array of activities available for children. The reviews mention "lots of things for the kids," including "balance beams, rope webs, climbing walks, slides." This makes it an appealing destination for families with young children who are looking for a campground where their kids can stay active and entertained. The combination of these play structures with the natural environment of woods and a pond offers a diverse range of activities for a family camping trip.
One reviewer recounted a storm passing through, noting that they "were well sheltered and not bothered by it." This suggests that the campsites or the overall layout of Terra Rose Campsite provides adequate protection from the elements, which is an important consideration for any camping trip.
However, one reviewer shared some specific challenges they encountered, particularly related to accessing the campsite, especially when arriving on a motorcycle after dark in the rain. They noted that the "road coming in" might be a bit "technical" for cars in heavy rain and was challenging for a motorcycle in those conditions. They also mentioned "little to no parking near most of the camp sites," which posed an issue for them as they didn't want to park their bike far from their setup. This might be less of a concern for car campers arriving in daylight.
The same reviewer also experienced some communication challenges, noting difficulty reaching anyone by phone on a Sunday morning to inquire about a water issue they were informed of during booking and to potentially move to a different site. They mentioned a turned-off phone with no voicemail option. This suggests that communication might sometimes be limited, or perhaps it was an isolated incident.
Despite these personal challenges faced by one reviewer, they also acknowledged that "this camp is both quiet and beautiful" and that most of their complaints were specific to their situation as a solo motorcycle traveler arriving in the dark and rain. This indicates that for other types of campers, particularly those arriving by car in daylight, these issues might not be as significant.

Terra Rose Campsite Reviews
Beautiful private campground with nice facilities. We went at an odd time and had the place all to ourselves. Our hoard of heathens screamed for days playing and having fun. We felt bad the hosts went through the work of starting a group fire. When we had worn ourselves out and went to bed early. They left us be, and were friendly and welcoming.Lots of things for the kids. Balance beams, rope webs, climbing walks, slides. Woods, a pond to fish in.A storm blew through, we were well sheltered and not bothered by it.
Aug 08, 2023 · Robert CrowSo most of my complaints will be specific to my situation and shouldn’t be taken as a general criticism of the place — this camp is both quiet and beautiful.I found Terra Rose online, and so had little idea what to expect. I found the website straightforward for making a reservation. I called and was able to talk to someone on the phone who informed me of a water issue that may or may not be resolved by the time I arrived. I said I would take my chances. No criticism here. One thing I was not prepared for was the road coming in. If you’re in a car you should be fine although a heavy rain could make it a bit technical, but I’m on a multi-state motorcycle trip, and came in after dark in the rain, and it took some effort to keep the bike upright.Once I got past the hairy entrance I soon discovered that there was little to no parking near most of the camp sites. This may not be an issue for some, but I wasn’t about to park my bike on the road, walk 50 feet to my site, set up in the dark / rain, and then ride my bike half a mile around the loop back to parking. If I was in a car in daylight some of this wouldn’t have been a hassle worth mentioning. I also realized that I didn’t remember my site number, and the confirmation email didn’t provide it. Not that it mattered at this point.Continuing on, and not taking the right corner, I found myself on a more stable road surface that suddenly got a bit less than flat and dead ended without warning. Being too narrow to turn around my bike, I decided to just set up my hammock right there and settle in for the night, which ultimately went well. The next morning was Sunday, and as this is more or less a Christian camp I can understand being reluctant to do business on Sunday. Or maybe that’s not it at all, but at any rate in the morning I decided to call and check on the water situation, and see if I could move to the one camp site that appeared to be adequate — only to be met by a turned off phone with no inbox. No ring, no ability to leave a message.I was planning to stay here a week. Not sure if I want to spend a week braving the road or not, but it’s Memorial Day weekend so not like I can just go somewhere else. I’ll update when I leave.
Sep 05, 2021 · Andrew H.What an amazing place to camp. It was quiet, beautiful (this time of year the trees were turning yellow and red.) It felt out of the way and nestled in a beautiful valley. Staff was friendly.
Oct 22, 2023 · Mark NiemeyerWe camped here as a family and had a great time. It is a beautiful and quiet spot and feels like you are far away from town even though it is close. Lots of fun things to do like horseshoes, hiking, obstacle course and great clean restroom facilities. A perfect place for a fun family campout on the weekend.
