The English Pale Campground and Resort Reviews
A few of us stayed at campsite #4 on the beach and it was a great time! Cal is extremely accommodating with transportation to camp, chopped firewood, ice, and even alcohol if you want. We weathered rain for almost 2 days, but Cal made sure to come down and check on us and warned us of potential flooding. The river was amazing and us and our dogs had the best time! We even had a double rainbow right in on the river.
Jul 07, 2024 · Fayth SeibelThis is our 3 rd. year 8th time camping at the English Pale. It is very quiet and peaceful. Our Golden Retrievers I think like it as much as we do. We are definitely Glampers and Cal makes every effort to make sure our stay is a memorable one. There is always a stack of firewood waiting when we get there. The beach is right along the Black River and is very nice for swimming, kayaking or tubing. Cal is constantly making improvements, and it shows. The property is very clean and maintained. See you next year.
Aug 11, 2024 · ben samSuper awesome massive beach along the river! Amazing customer service. Completely rustic experience if you want it, with the right amount of amenities haha. Thank you!
Jun 09, 2024 · Isaac CarrHad a great time at English Pale with a few friends at Rustic Site 4 last weekend (mid-July).Camped on the beach, anchored some tubes in the water, played some spike ball in the sand—loved it.Cal was super friendly and helpful, site price, as well as offered amenities like ice delivery, wood, and supplies shuttle were all reasonably priced.Pit toilet up by “lodge” is clean and well kept, there’s a real outdoor sink to wash hands, and the shower area is extremely nice. Will definitely be coming back next summer
Jul 19, 2023 · Joseph SchulteWe just spent the weekend at the English Pale and couldn't be happier. This was our second stay at the campground and it gets better each time. This weekend there was a reception party on Friday night for all the weekend campers. On Saturday we went were shuttled to a launch point, so we could go tubing down the river. After tubing the campground had shelters setup on the beach with beverages and several fun activities planned for our group. The beach on the rivers edge is beautiful and huge. Later in the evening there was a shuttle ride available for us to go out for dinner and drinks, with more activities planned when we got back. It is obvious that the ownership/management is committed to taking care of the guests and making sure you have everything you could need. Over the last few years ownership has constantly been upgrading and expanding the campground. Each time we visit it gets better and better. We can't wait to schedule our next trip to The English Pale Campground and Resort.
