Neshonoc Lakeside Campground Reviews
We utilized this campground as a stop over. The lake view site was very spacious! We all wished we would have had more time to spend at this campground. We were a late checkin. I called ahead to the office and they kindly let me know how to get checked in. We arrived 30 minutes before the pool closed. The pool attendant was very kind and let our kids maximize the time they had! The pool area was extremely well maintained. The laundry room was conveniently open 24 hrs and priced very fair. Bathrooms were very clean and in a convenient location. Our daughter enjoyed the playground in the morning before we departed!
Jul 12, 2024 · Sarah LongWe made reservations weeks ahead of time. Lawn pretty long when we came in. My husband went to the front desk after a week and ask somebody if they could cut the lawn. I called office 3-4 days later to see.if someone could cut the lawn. Now after we have been here almost 2 weeks still waiting. Parts of the lawn are up to my knee.Laundry has been closed per other campers for awhile now.Beautiful park .......but maintenance needs attention. We also have a dead tree leaning over one of the roads at the top of the hill. No one could get through with a RV without tearing the roof because it's halfway across the road.Everyone is extremely friendly and nice at the office but it seems like maintenance is way behind on everything. We have been Good Sam's members for over 20 + years and never stated a park that has been so LAX on maintenance.***"*After they were notified again they came through was very apologetic cut our grass and made sure our stay was a happy one thanks again. I changed my three star rating to a five-star rating after groundskeeping came through.
May 14, 2024 · Darline ReynoldsWe camped for a night here over Labor Day Weekend. It is a well-groomed campground with the lake and pool. The trailer sites were on grass and it is family friendly. The pool is well-kept and a good size. It was a great place to stay.
Sep 07, 2024 · RuthE HFamily has camped here for decades. Can’t beat the view, two parks, nice pool and kiddie pool, family friendly activities on weekends, well kept public areas. It’s mainly permanent sites and a handful of seasonal sites. There is a beach kinda but most don’t use it often. The lake is beautiful and you can rent canoes or kayaks. Lot Rent can be expensive but if you can afford it, we’ve loved it and think it’s worth it.
Jul 25, 2024 · Sandra ElsenWe just stayed at the campground for six nights. This is a very nice campground with some downsides. The worst problem was the enormous amount of gnats! Although it did not rain while we were there, the ground at our site never dried so gnat city! The pool was a nice area but I didn’t go in after I saw oil and black stuff floating on the surface. Friendly people was the best part about this park.
