The Point Campground & Farm Reviews
What an amazing new place just a short drive to Cumberland Point boat ramp. This is a great offering as it has such great proximity to center of Lake Cumberland just across from Conley Bottom Marina which has many great offerings especially Thursday night live music. In my opinion this is one of the more scenic areas of Cumberland for boaters. This place is new and expanding with many new amenities to come, especially for children. I really like how the sites are situated with an excellent view of the ponds and pasture. The sits are extremely roomy allowing room to have your boat during your stay. Everyday I have been here I have enjoyed seeing the geese walking their babies and Turkey wondering the pasture along with several deer. It’s a very short drive from Nancy where you have gas, groceries, good Mexican food or the drive thru Mill Springs Pizza is on point!!!!Tyler is a wonderful host and you will definitely be satisfied with your stay whether it’s just overnight, a weekend on the lake or an even longer stay!

Perfect for lake day fun!The sunsets are second to none and make a picturesque backdrop for unwinding around a campfire with friends and family.I have a feeling my family will be spending more A LOT of time here for years to come.HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
May 12, 2023 · Karrie Beth BourneFound this site looking for a place to bring our camper closer to home on a month-to-month basis for our first season. The Point is new, providing full hook-up+sewer. Noticed more sites going in. Sites are very roomy which we liked and site rates attractive. No problem accommodating our 39ft camper. Fire ring, picnic table at finished sites are nice adds. The campground is open with rolling hills and woods, which adds to the charm. Don’t have to worry about falling trees from storm damage (one reason we moved our camper). Peaceful and plenty of stargazing. It’s also nice to be a little over a mile from a LC boat ramp, across from Conely Bottom which we were looking for as well. We knew minor tweaks were still being made, and there were a few amenities not yet completed but you can see certain projects coming along. Wi-Fi goes in next week so used hot spot our first trip, which was fine. Can’t wait for grandkids to see the giant playground when it’s finished-will resemble a giant house boat. The plans for the open barn conversion to an outdoor pavilion/clubhouse will be a nice add. No bathhouse yet but understand this is planned for next season. I do have high praise for the onsite ponds by the sites. I couldn’t believe how many bass and sun fish we caught. Grandson had the best time! The owner, Taylor was very upfront, answered all of questions and helped get us settled. Took the time to introduce his lovely family and our grandson made some new friends. With the progress being made, hopefully we’ll be calling this campground home-away-from-home for a while.
Jun 09, 2024 · tracey henryWe couldn’t have asked for a better experience! This campground has everything you need and then some. We had a full hookup, and a perfect location being so close to lake Cumberland for all our fishing and boating needs. We had easy access to the Cumberland point boat ramp which was only 5 minutes from our campground. One of our favorite parts of the experience was getting to see all the wildlife right there at camp. We love the Nancy Ky area and can’t wait to come back and visit!
