Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Famcamp Reviews
We were Traveling through from New York and booked to stay here. At Gate guard ID us and you feel welcomed. The location for RV was clean with park bench, propane hook up (must ask), electric hook up, water hook up, and dog park close by. Rest rooms are available although didn't use any other features at this camp.We arrived at night and had the peace of safety as we traveled. Highly recommend and the planes on location are amazing. Would stay again.
Dec 15, 2024 · Elizabeth AWe've stayed here a couple times and Vicki has always been very accommodating and polite. We found the campground very well maintained and the location is great.
Feb 27, 2025 · DPI think it's a little bit expensive for a fam camp, but it is a nice little RV campground with full hookups and a huge dog park. We enjoy stopping here on our way through Dayton.
Apr 14, 2025 · Mike McDonoughCamping sites were level, spacious and well-maintained. Bathrooms were clean, well stocked with soap, clearly well taken care of. Dog park was a really nice off-leash area that was clean & mowed. Nice walking areas including a pond. Security was, of course, stellar!
Jul 19, 2024 · Terry AdinolfiOn our return from Alaska as a stop on a four month RV trip. We experienced some mechanical issues but were fortunate that the factory where our RV was made is in Sugarcreek and they could fit us in on a Monday; meaning instead of two nights, we could only stay one. About a week in advance we called to make them aware and were told under no circumstances were cancellations free and there would be a $30 charge. I asked them to explain and she said, all cancellations, no matter how far in advance, were charged a $30 cancellation fee. Good to note - we won't be back. There are a number of pull through and back-in sites. What we could tell all are FHU. The single bathhouse is a bit dated and small. The ONLY GATE you can use on weekends/holidays is Gate 12A on A Side. We used RVTRIPWIZARD, WAZE and Google and they all took us to various gates and even to B side where a nice Security Guard pinpointed the Famcamp on my iPhone and away we went.Visited the PX and Commissary - well stocked. The single gas station on A Side was not operating and that was a bummer but to the left as you exit Gate 12A is a Shell Station 1/4 of a mile away. No wifi but our Starlink worked perfectly. We needed four leveling blocks (Doubled on driver's side) and our rig is only 18' long. With their terrible cancellation fee, we won't be back.
