Wurr Flat #2 | Memorial Park Reviews
This campsite is an excellent choice for groups of up to 75, nestled in the beautiful redwoods. Our scout troop stayed here last weekend, and it was fantastic. The site features multiple picnic tables, a couple of food lockers, a potable water spigot, a fire ring, large barbecue pit, and even a bright light with an electrical outlet (two plugs), which is a rare find at campsites.Nearby, you’ll find trash and recycling bins, along with plenty of parking. The restrooms are clean and well-maintained, equipped with flush toilets, warm water, soap, mirrors, and shelves for toiletries. Some restrooms also include baby changing stations. While you’ll need to bring your own hand towel, the facilities are convenient and thoughtfully designed. Coin-operated showers are available, though I didn’t personally use them. Overall, this campsite is a wonderful spot for a large group experience!
