Ya Ya’s Lake Seminole RV Park Introduce
For local users and travelers in the Bainbridge, Georgia area seeking a dependable and hospitable RV park or campground near you, Ya Ya’s Lake Seminole RV Park, located at 1863 Booster Club Rd, Bainbridge, GA 39819, USA, offers a welcoming experience. Falling under the "camping near me" category, this park distinguishes itself through its friendly on-site owners and camp hosts, functional amenities, and status as a Passport America member. You can reach them at (704) 999-9149 or mobile at +1 704-999-9149 for inquiries and reservations.
The environment of Ya Ya’s Lake Seminole RV Park is described as "clean and upkept" and "rustic." While it might not boast elaborate landscaping or water views directly from all sites, the focus is clearly on providing a comfortable and well-maintained space for campers. The fact that the entire campground is grass might be a point of consideration for some, but it was not a negative for one reviewer. The park is situated west of Tallahassee and ten miles north of Hwy 10, placing it in a location that offers accessibility while maintaining a quieter, more rural feel. It's also implied by the name that the park is located in the vicinity of Lake Seminole, a significant recreational area known for fishing and natural beauty, although direct lake access or views from the campground are not explicitly mentioned as features.
The services at Ya Ya’s Lake Seminole RV Park are highlighted by the responsive and accommodating nature of the owners and camp hosts who live on site. They are praised for being "delightful" and readily available to assist guests with their needs, even going out of their way to accommodate a large rig in a potentially less suitable site. The park offers full hookups, including 50-watt power, catering primarily to RV travelers. Essential amenities such as a laundry facility and a bathhouse are available and are noted to be "clean and smelled good," although one reviewer mentioned they are "older" but "functions just fine," indicating a focus on functionality and cleanliness over modern aesthetics.
For convenience, Ya Ya’s Lake Seminole RV Park offers firewood for sale and propane exchanges, eliminating the need for campers to travel off-site for these necessities. The availability of "good" Wi-Fi is another significant service appreciated by guests, allowing them to stay connected. Each site is equipped with fire pits, encouraging outdoor gatherings and the traditional camping experience, and picnic tables are also provided for added convenience and meal enjoyment at the individual campsites.
A key feature of Ya Ya’s Lake Seminole RV Park is its membership in Passport America, a discount camping club that offers members 50% off standard camping rates at participating campgrounds. This can be a significant cost-saving benefit for Passport America members looking for camping in the Bainbridge, GA area. This membership underscores the park's appeal to budget-conscious travelers and highlights a potential promotional aspect for those who are part of or willing to join Passport America.
It is important to note what Ya Ya’s Lake Seminole RV Park does not offer. According to one reviewer, it is not the place for those seeking extensive amenities such as a pool, hot tub, or water views directly from the campsites. The focus here is more on providing a comfortable, clean, and functional base for exploring the area or as a reliable stopover for travelers. The charm of the park seems to lie in its friendly atmosphere, essential services, and the natural beauty of the surrounding skies at night, emphasizing a more traditional and community-oriented camping experience.
One reviewer mentioned that the campground was "severely damaged by a hurricane" and that the owner is "working hard to rebuild her campground." This provides important context, suggesting that while the park is operational and well-maintained, it may still be in the process of recovery and potential future improvements. This resilience and the owner's dedication to rebuilding further contribute to the positive impression of the park.
The presence of full-time and long-term residents alongside overnight and weekly guests suggests a diverse community within the park. This can often contribute to a friendly and helpful atmosphere, as experienced by one reviewer who noted the wonderful people they met during their stay. The on-site presence of the owners and camp hosts further enhances this sense of community and ensures that assistance is readily available when needed.
In conclusion, Ya Ya’s Lake Seminole RV Park offers a welcoming and functional camping option for those searching for "camping near me" in the Bainbridge, Georgia area. Its friendly on-site owners and camp hosts, clean and well-kept facilities (including laundry and bathhouse), full hookups, Wi-Fi, fire pits, and picnic tables provide the essentials for a comfortable stay. The park's membership in Passport America offers a significant benefit for members. While it may be a "small rustic campground" without extensive resort-style amenities, its reliability, friendly service, and ongoing efforts to rebuild after hurricane damage make it a noteworthy option for RVers and travelers looking for a genuine and hospitable experience near Lake Seminole.

Ya Ya’s Lake Seminole RV Park Reviews
We enjoyed staying at YaYa's. We hadn't planned on staying at this campground, but the one we made reservations for would not even answer the phone and was in terrible shape. Now, for the review. The owners and two camp hosts live on site. They were all delightful... and, they answered the phone when we needed a place to stay. They dont typically put a large rig in the site we were in, but they offered, and we accepted. There are full time and long term living on site, as well as by the night, or, like us, for a week. Any time we needed anything, they were right on time. The RV park was clean and upkept. The laundry and bathhouse was clean and smelled good. As someone mentioned, it is older, but functions just fine. They offer firewood for sale and propane exchanges. The wifi was good. They have fire pits at each site, and offer picnic tables as well. The whole campground is grass. Not sure why that bothers some, but not us. If you are looking for amenities, this place is not for you. No pool, hottub, waterview, etc. Just people and campers with beautiful skies at night.
Jan 21, 2023 · Cindi MarshallThis park is a Passport America member. The park sits west of Tallahassee and ten miles North of Hwy 10. This is a small rustic campground, which was severely damaged by a hurricane. The owner is working hard to rebuild her campground. There is full hookups with 50 watts of power. Free WiFi and they have a place to do laundry. The owner is extremely friendly and accommodating. If looking for a few nights on the road to stay, I will definitely stop here again.
Feb 11, 2020 · John AtchleyCharming little park with full hook-ups not far off of the highway, but very quiet. The owner and manager are super friendly. I got a great discount with Passport America. They also offer discounts for military, first responders and veterans. They are pet friendly and have a laundry and bath house if needed. It's a little older, but well-kept. I highly recommend.
Apr 13, 2023 · Lioness HeartThese people here are the best, they go all out to help you. Super smiles, friendly , they are there on the rv parking. Laundry, full service, storage super clean, security on site
Mar 27, 2023 · America 1We stayed at this RV park for one week and it was perfect. The camp host, Candy, was so inviting and accommodating, she made us feel right at home. We also met the owners, Cheri and Jackie, and they were just as warm and welcoming. The setting was quiet and secluded and just what we wanted without any crowds or loud guests. There’s also a great park for walking or biking half mile down the road as well as caverns you can visit just 35 miles away. It was amazing. Thank you so much for the pleasant stay. I wholeheartedly recommend this park if you want a little solitude and a friendly setting:)
