235 RV Park, Roscoe, TX Introduce
For local users and travelers seeking "RV parks near me" in the vicinity of Roscoe, Texas, 235 RV Park, located at 12825 S Interstate Hwy 20, Roscoe, TX 79545, presents a location with certain conveniences, particularly for those traveling along Interstate 20. However, recent customer reviews provide a mixed perspective, highlighting both potential advantages and areas of concern that prospective visitors should consider when making their choice. This introduction aims to offer an objective overview of 235 RV Park based on the available feedback, covering its environment, services, and features.
One of the primary advantages of 235 RV Park appears to be its location directly off South Interstate Highway 20. This accessibility makes it a potentially convenient stop for travelers on the I-20 corridor. Additionally, the park offers "large truck parking," which can be a significant benefit for RVers towing larger rigs or those traveling in commercial vehicles. The presence of a "shop on property" suggests the availability of some basic supplies or possibly even RV-related items, although the inventory was noted as "pretty low this past weekend" by one reviewer, indicating potential fluctuations in stock. There is also mention of a "small chrome shop," which might cater more specifically to truckers but could offer some specialized items of interest to RV owners as well.
In terms of dining options, 235 RV Park seems to offer more than just basic campground fare. Reviews mention a "good restaurant" on the property, providing a convenient option for meals without having to travel further. Additionally, there is a "steak restaurant" separate from the smaller restaurant in the store, offering a potentially more upscale dining experience for those interested. The availability of multiple dining options can be a significant convenience for travelers looking for "RV parks near me" where they can easily find a meal.
However, the reviews also raise some significant concerns regarding the maintenance and upkeep of the park's facilities. One reviewer was particularly critical of the restrooms, stating that the "men's room always has one of the two toilets out of order and no toilet paper," and that the "urinal out of order." These comments suggest a potential issue with the regular maintenance and stocking of essential restroom facilities, which is a crucial aspect of any RV park experience. The availability of showers is mentioned separately, implying they exist, but their condition is not detailed in the provided feedback.
Another concerning review comes from an RV group that decided to leave the park without staying. Their experience included being unable to reach anyone by phone after multiple attempts and finding the "sites were unkempt and weedy, especially around hook ups." The reviewer specifically used the term "(SNAKY )" to describe the weedy conditions around the hookups, which raises potential concerns about pests and the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the individual RV sites. This negative first impression led the group to promptly leave, indicating a significant issue with the initial visual appeal and upkeep of the camping areas.
The environment of 235 RV Park, based on the limited information, appears to be primarily focused on its convenience for travelers along I-20. The presence of truck parking and on-site shops suggests a functional rather than a scenic or recreational focus. While the availability of restaurants is a plus, the concerns about restroom maintenance and unkempt sites indicate potential drawbacks in the overall environment and upkeep of the park. The lack of any positive comments regarding the natural surroundings or recreational facilities suggests that these may not be primary features of 235 RV Park.
In terms of services, 235 RV Park offers the basic amenities of a stopover location, including parking and potentially hookups for RVs (though the condition around these hookups is questioned in one review). The presence of a shop suggests some level of retail service, although inventory levels may vary. The availability of two restaurants on-site is a notable service. However, the reported issues with restroom maintenance raise concerns about the reliability and quality of these essential services. The lack of mention of other common RV park services, such as laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, or recreational areas, suggests that these may not be prominent features of 235 RV Park.
Features of 235 RV Park include its convenient location off a major interstate highway, large truck parking, an on-site shop (with a small chrome shop), and two restaurants (a general one and a steakhouse). These features cater primarily to travelers needing a stopover with basic amenities and services. However, the negative reviews highlight significant drawbacks, including poorly maintained restrooms with out-of-order facilities and a lack of supplies, as well as unkempt and weedy RV sites, particularly around the hookups. These negative features may outweigh the convenience of the location and on-site services for some potential visitors.
Promotional information is entirely absent from the provided text. Therefore, it is impossible to comment on any special offers, discounts, or incentives that 235 RV Park might be currently offering to attract visitors. Local users interested in learning about pricing, availability, and any potential promotions are advised to contact 235 RV Park directly at the provided phone numbers: (325) 766-0119 or +1 325-766-0119. When calling, it would be prudent to inquire specifically about the current condition of the restrooms and the upkeep of the RV sites.
In conclusion, for local users and travelers searching for "RV parks near me" in the Roscoe, Texas area, 235 RV Park offers a convenient location along Interstate 20 with the benefits of large truck parking, an on-site shop, and two restaurants. However, recent customer reviews raise significant concerns regarding the maintenance of the restrooms and the upkeep of the RV sites. Potential visitors should carefully weigh these factors against the convenience of the location and the available amenities when making their decision. It is recommended to contact the park directly for the most up-to-date information on the condition of the facilities and any current promotions before planning a stay.

235 RV Park, Roscoe, TX Reviews
Good location large truck parking has a shop on property and a good restaurant. Restrooms are not very good men's room always has one of the two toilets out of order and no toilet paper. And urinal out of order. They have showers and a steak restaurant besides the small restaurant in the store. Store inventory was pretty low this past weekend usually not that way. Small chrome shop.
