This suggests that Blue Skies Village is a popular destination for snowbirds seeking a warm winter retreat in their RVs.
A significant aspect of Blue Skies Village is the strong sense of community and the active participation of residents. Blue Skies Village Reviews
Some of the people who live here for a limited part of the year are snow geesers who drive a thousand miles from Swift Current, Saskatchewan, but they are neither swift nor current, ): (ha ha) but they are good folks, they are salt of the earth people. Some other people of a different vein hail from Nanoose Bay, BC Canada. Others are people from states in the Pacific North West of the United States. There is an effective neighbourhood watch program in effect and residents take an active interest in the well-being of their community. The whole trailer park is extremely clean and “well-groomed”. Social activities among residents abound, especially during the American Thanksgiving and the Winter Season. Many golf opportunities are found nearby; for those interested in other activities, my suggestion would be a visit to the Palm Springs Aviation Museum (a great collection of WW II airplanes) the local zoo (fantastic assortment of African animals) and Joshua Tree National Park. (For landscape photographers, climbers and nature lovers a must!)
Dec 30, 2019 · Kogo_007I'm dog-sitting for a friend and I've stayed here a few times. Adorable. Access to County Rec walkway. Pet-friendly. Very nice residents. Activities. Heated pool and hot tub. Everything in good repair. In the past, I thought this place was affordable for retirees wanting to own a snowbird destination. Nothing seems affordable to me anymore, but if you can do your own upgrades, you could probably buy a sort of crummy permanentized mobile home for around $150K and fix it up. Nicer ones are probably more in the $300K range and higher. Monthly fees seem to be affordable and very cute bungalows (permanentized mobile homes). Check their website for pictures.
