I lived here for 5 years renting to own my trailer. As soon as I paid it off lot rent was raised by $75 the trailer was a fixer upper and needed WAY more work than was stated. Most of the outlets didn't work. Roof was leaking and getting worse. Refrigerator didn't get cold. Hot water heater didn't work and kept breaking. Fixed it twice and replaced it once. Still doesn't work. They only mow your grass about once a month. Sometimes even longer. They shut water off to work on the pipes CONSTANTLY and do not give you any warning. The landlord called humane services and LIED TO THEM just hoping they would take my dog for some reason! He said dog was trapped outside in a fence with no food and water when he clearly had both and is over weight. I was home at the time and could have helped the dog if he was actually concerned. He then told me I wasn't allowed to have the dog as per my lease but that was not true and I kept him for 2 years while this guy threatened to have me evicted. All lies. I signed. My lease with someone else and had already had the dog 3 years when he decided he was upset about it. Landlord also busted pipes behind my house that were spraying the back of the house. He left them that way and said nothing! I got home to no water pressure and had to fix the pipe with what I had. There is something wrong with their sewer system. It is always backing up and they're constantly working on it. For some reason the landlord seems to be living/ sleeping at the office at night. I would not advise anyone to live here! It is "cheap" compared to some places but do yourself a favor and pay $50-$100 extra each month for a liveable house! I am actually paying less now per month and have everything I need. Everything works and no roof leaks! Landlord is great and actually helpful here! - Alison Spann

Blue Sky Estates Introduce

For individuals seeking housing in the Clarksville, Tennessee area, Blue Sky Estates, located at 922 Power St, Clarksville, TN 37042, is a mobile home park that presents a complex picture based on the available customer reviews. Although the platform category is listed as "RV parks near me," this introduction focuses on Blue Sky Estates as a potential long-term or semi-permanent residential option. It is important to understand the distinction between mobile home parks, which typically offer longer tenancies, and RV parks, which primarily cater to short-term recreational vehicle stays.

The information available regarding Blue Sky Estates comes from two contrasting customer reviews, offering significantly different perspectives on the living conditions and management. These divergent experiences underscore the importance of thorough investigation by potential residents. The provided contact numbers for Blue Sky Estates are (931) 241-5286 and +1 931-241-5286. It is strongly advised that prospective tenants contact the management directly to seek clarification and current information regarding the issues and positive aspects raised in the reviews, as well as to inquire about current vacancies, rental costs, and park policies.

One detailed review from a former resident who lived at Blue Sky Estates for five years while in a rent-to-own agreement for a trailer paints a concerning picture. This resident reported a $75 increase in lot rent immediately after paying off the trailer, which they described as a "fixer upper" needing substantial, undisclosed work. Specific issues with the trailer included malfunctioning outlets, a worsening roof leak, a non-functioning refrigerator, and a hot water heater that consistently failed despite multiple repairs and a replacement.

Regarding park maintenance, this reviewer stated that grass mowing occurred approximately once a month or even less frequently. Frequent, unscheduled water shut-offs for pipe work were also a major complaint, causing significant inconvenience to residents. Furthermore, this former resident recounted a troubling incident where the landlord allegedly made false claims to humane services about their dog, seemingly in an attempt to have the animal removed, despite the dog having food, water, and being overweight. The landlord also reportedly falsely claimed the resident was not allowed to have the dog per the lease, leading to years of threats of eviction, even though the resident had the dog for three years under a different lease agreement.

The review also mentioned an incident where the landlord allegedly damaged pipes behind the resident's house, causing water to spray the property, and failed to inform the resident, who then had to fix the issue themselves due to lack of water pressure. Additionally, concerns were raised about the park's sewer system, which was described as constantly backing up and under frequent repair. The reviewer also noted the landlord seemingly sleeping at the office at night.

Based on these experiences, this former resident strongly advised against living at Blue Sky Estates, suggesting that while it might appear "cheap" compared to other options, the potential problems make it worth paying an extra $50-$100 per month for a more livable and functional home elsewhere. The reviewer contrasted their experience at Blue Sky Estates with their current, more affordable residence where everything works and the landlord is helpful.

In stark contrast, another former resident who lived at Blue Sky Estates for over four and a half years offered a highly positive perspective. This reviewer described the owner as a "wonderful person" who provided significant help to them and their family on numerous occasions, including offering employment after a job loss due to a car accident. This reviewer credited the owner as the primary reason the park was still operational and highlighted the owner's personal investment in a "whole face lift" and beautification of the property, often doing much of the work himself.

This positive review urged others not to be quick to criticize the park, emphasizing the owner's hard work and suggesting that the community also bears some responsibility for maintaining the improvements. The reviewer expressed deep gratitude to the owner for his support.

The significant divergence between these two reviews makes it challenging to form a definitive objective assessment of Blue Sky Estates. However, several key points emerge:

  • Conflicting Experiences: Residents have reported drastically different experiences, ranging from severe maintenance issues and negative landlord interactions to positive support and community improvements.
  • Maintenance Concerns: One reviewer detailed numerous unresolved maintenance problems with their rented-to-own trailer and issues with park upkeep (grass mowing, water shut-offs, sewer problems).
  • Landlord Interactions: One review described negative and allegedly dishonest interactions with the landlord, while another praised the owner for being exceptionally helpful and supportive.
  • Recent Improvements: The positive review highlighted significant efforts by the owner to renovate and beautify the park.
  • Community Responsibility: The positive review suggested that residents should also contribute to maintaining the park's appearance.

Given these conflicting accounts, potential local users considering Blue Sky Estates as a housing option should exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence. It is essential to contact the management directly using the provided phone numbers to inquire about the current conditions, rental agreements, maintenance policies, and to address the specific concerns raised in the negative review. A visit to the property to personally assess the environment and the condition of available units is also highly recommended.

While the platform category is "RV parks near me," the context of the reviews, focusing on trailer rentals and rent-to-own agreements, indicates that Blue Sky Estates primarily functions as a mobile home park catering to longer-term residents rather than short-term RV stays.

There is no specific promotional information available for Blue Sky Estates in the provided reviews. Any potential incentives or special offers would need to be directly inquired about with the park management.

In conclusion, Blue Sky Estates in Clarksville, Tennessee, presents a complex and potentially risky housing option based on the sharply contrasting experiences reported by former residents. While one review highlights significant and unresolved issues related to maintenance and landlord interactions, the other praises the owner's efforts to improve the park and his personal support to residents. Potential local users should weigh these conflicting accounts carefully and prioritize direct communication with the management and a thorough site visit to form their own informed opinion before making any decisions about residing at Blue Sky Estates.
