Blue Sky Estates Introduce
For individuals exploring housing options in Clarksville, TN, and searching under the category of "RV parks near me" with a potential interest in mobile home living, Blue Sky Estates, located at 920 Power St, Clarksville, TN 37042, USA, presents itself as a mobile home park. Contactable at (931) 241-5286 and +1 931-241-5286, Blue Sky Estates appears to offer both rental and potentially rent-to-own opportunities for mobile homes. To provide a balanced introduction for local users, we will examine the available customer reviews to understand the environment, services (or lack thereof), features, and any indications of promotional offers or concerns raised by residents.
One reviewer describes Blue Sky Estates as "quiet" and expresses a positive sentiment, stating, "love it over here its quiet park management Mr.Fred is the best. Everyone is so friendly." This feedback suggests that the park may offer a peaceful living environment and a welcoming community atmosphere. The positive mention of the park management, specifically Mr. Fred, indicates that residents may find the management approachable and helpful. This can be a significant factor for those considering a move to a mobile home park, as responsive management contributes to a positive living experience. The friendliness of the residents also suggests a strong sense of community, which can be appealing to individuals looking for a neighborhood feel within a mobile home park setting, especially if their search for "RV parks near me" is geared towards finding a long-term community.
However, a starkly contrasting review paints a concerning picture of Blue Sky Estates. This reviewer advises others not to move there, claiming they were "taken advantage of because we were desperate." This serious accusation warrants careful consideration. The reviewer details several significant issues with the condition of the trailer they moved into under a "rent to own" agreement. These issues include the trailer not being level, frequent power outages when using a space heater (indicating potential problems with the electrical system and a lack of adequate heating), and leaks around doors and windows, suggesting poor insulation and potential water damage.
The reviewer further states that the trailer they moved into was supposedly the "nicest they had available," which raises concerns about the overall condition of other units within the park. They also mention seeing other "move in ready" trailers with significant structural problems such as holes in floors and walls, and subflooring with soft spots, indicating potentially unsafe or uninhabitable conditions. These descriptions are critical for anyone considering Blue Sky Estates as a potential home, especially those who might be drawn to a "rent to own" option as advertised.
The financial aspects of this reviewer's experience are also troubling. They report paying a $2200 move-in fee and $1200 per month for a rent-to-own agreement. After having a contractor inspect the property, they were advised that the trailer was not worth the monthly payment nor the cost of repairs needed to fix it up. This suggests a potential mismatch between the value of the property and the financial commitment required to live there.
The reviewer also raises serious ethical concerns about the park management's practices. They accuse the manager of being "shady" and mention an instance where a "personal fee" was allegedly added to the deposit for "his time spent showing the places." The practice of showing multiple groups simultaneously (six in this case) with limited viewing time (five minutes per trailer) further suggests a lack of transparency and thoroughness in the leasing process. The reviewer believes that "many of the major issues were intentionally hidden," which is a significant red flag for potential tenants.
Considering these two vastly different reviews, it is essential for anyone considering Blue Sky Estates, perhaps as a result of searching "RV parks near me" and finding this option, to proceed with extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence. The positive review highlights a quiet environment, friendly community, and good management (Mr. Fred). However, the negative review raises serious concerns about the condition of the properties, the fairness of the financial terms, and the ethical practices of the management.
Based on the available information, we can attempt to outline the potential environment, services, and features of Blue Sky Estates, keeping in mind the conflicting perspectives:
Environment: One review suggests a "quiet" environment and a "friendly" community. However, the other review focuses on the poor condition of the trailers themselves, including issues like unevenness, leaks, and inadequate heating/electrical systems. The physical environment of the park grounds (e.g., landscaping, road conditions) is not described in either review.
Services: The reviews do not explicitly detail the services provided by Blue Sky Estates. Typically, mobile home parks offer basic utilities (water, sewer, electricity hookups) and possibly trash removal. The negative review implies that basic necessities like adequate heating and a functioning electrical system were lacking in their rented unit. The mention of "rent to own" suggests that the park may facilitate the sale or lease-to-purchase of mobile homes in addition to lot rentals.
Features: One positive feature mentioned is the quiet atmosphere. However, the negative review describes numerous detrimental features of the available trailers, including:
- Not being level.
- Inadequate electrical capacity for basic heating.
- Leaks around doors and windows.
- Substandard flooring with soft spots and holes in some units.
Promotional Information: The mention of "rent to own" can be considered a form of promotional offering, appealing to individuals who may not qualify for traditional home loans. However, the negative review casts serious doubt on the value and condition of the properties being offered under this arrangement. There is no other promotional information available in the provided text, such as move-in specials or discounts.
Given the significant discrepancies between the two reviews, it is impossible to provide a definitively positive or negative introduction to Blue Sky Estates. The positive review suggests a pleasant community with good management, while the negative review paints a picture of disrepair, financial exploitation, and unethical management practices. For local users searching for "RV parks near me" who might be considering Blue Sky Estates, especially for the rent-to-own option, it is imperative to:
- Visit the park in person and thoroughly inspect any potential rental or purchase units.
- Speak with multiple current residents to get a broader range of experiences and opinions.
- Inquire in detail about all costs involved, including move-in fees, monthly payments, utility responsibilities, and any potential maintenance costs.
- Carefully review any lease or purchase agreements before signing, and consider seeking legal advice if anything seems unclear or unfair.
- Document the condition of any property before moving in or entering a rent-to-own agreement.
In conclusion, Blue Sky Estates in Clarksville, TN, presents a mixed picture based on the limited available reviews. While one resident praises its quiet environment, friendly community, and management, another recounts a deeply negative experience involving substandard housing conditions, questionable financial practices, and alleged deception by the management. For individuals in the Clarksville area searching for "RV parks near me" and considering Blue Sky Estates, particularly for their rent-to-own program, a high degree of caution and thorough investigation is strongly advised. The contrasting experiences highlight the potential for variability in the quality of housing and management within the park. Therefore, relying solely on the limited online information is insufficient, and a comprehensive personal assessment is necessary before making any decisions.

Blue Sky Estates Reviews
Quiet and love it over here its quiet park management Mr.Fred is the best. Everyone is so friendly
Aug 23, 2024 · Hattie HouleDont move here! We were taken advantage of because we were desperate. The trailer is not level, the power shuts off if we plug in a space heater (no heat or air). And there are leaks around the doors and windows and this is the nicest they had available. Some he called move in ready had holes if floors and walls. There are no floors just pieced together sub flooring with soft spots everywhere. We paid $2200 to move in and $1200 a month rent to own. Had a contractor look at it and he said this place is not worth $1200 nor is it worth sinking money into to fix it up. He is shady. Literally was adding his personal fee to the deposit for "his time spent showing the places". Literally took 6 groups at the same time and you got 5 minutes to look before he moved to the next trailer. Many of the major issues were intentionally hidden.
Apr 02, 2024 · Tara FelicianoImpossible to talk to owner! Biggest issue is property manager!Who will not have property owner contact tenants & will not provide property owners contact information. All tenants who have issues with manager, are told "I can evict or terminate, without any reason, by law"!Then given a court date for termination & never able to relay concerns about property manager, to the owner.Resulting in many homeless families, who have spent entire savings & income, just to lay flooring, rewire house, fix plumbing, paint, ect ect ect, just to make home livable & rent to own be terminated FOR NO REASON!
Jun 05, 2023 · KRYSTAL NORTHThis place is a scam and the owner is a slumlord do yourself a favor and don't rent here they prey on desperate people who need a place just about every mobile should be red tagged and the "deposit" they will tell you upfront is refundable instead when you decide to move out they will tell you it was a lease option fee most awful experience of my life I'm an excellent tenant with 10 plus years of perfect rental history their loss for sure except they have my $2000 for a place I never got to move in to
Aug 28, 2023 · Christine PrinceA lot of good people live in this place. Not that many people take care of their yard and trailer. The community should get together snd and set simple rules of how the place should look. Low income should not mean to live in dirty conditions.
