BoaVida RV Parks and Resorts Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Sacramento, California area, BoaVida RV Parks and Resorts, located at 1910 Terracina Dr, Sacramento, CA 95834, USA, is one option that may appear in your search. It's important to note that BoaVida RV Parks and Resorts is a company that owns multiple RV and mobile home parks, and the reviews available online may pertain to different locations under the BoaVida umbrella. The phone number provided for this Sacramento address is (916) 432-3298, with a mobile contact of +1 916-432-3298.
Based on the publicly available reviews, it is crucial to approach the consideration of any BoaVida-owned property, including the Sacramento location, with caution and conduct thorough due diligence. The reviews found online raise significant concerns regarding the management practices and living conditions at some of their parks.
One detailed review appears to reference a property in Rockport/Fulton, Texas, known as Woody Acres RV Resort, which is now under BoaVida ownership. This reviewer, who moved into Woody Acres in 2019 and worked in the office for a period, paints a concerning picture. They mention a history of high turnover among on-site managers and office staff, suggesting potential instability in the management. The reviewer also claims that the promotional video on BoaVida's website does not accurately represent the current state of Woody Acres, implying a level of misrepresentation. They highlight the need for significant improvements to make the park appealing to newcomers and express frustration with constant water shut-offs and flooding issues within the park.
Furthermore, this reviewer details difficulties in receiving reimbursement for lawn service fees paid over two years, indicating potential issues with financial management and communication. They also question whether Woody Acres is indeed a 55+ park, as they have observed young children unsupervised in common areas like the pool, which they have reportedly brought to the manager's attention. The overall tone of this review is highly critical, suggesting significant operational and management challenges at the Woody Acres location in Texas under BoaVida ownership.
Another review provides insights from an individual who owns a mobile home in a park that was purchased by BoaVida a couple of years prior to their review. While the location of this park is not explicitly stated as the Sacramento address, the concerns raised are relevant to understanding BoaVida's overall management approach. This reviewer reports consistent annual increases in space rent by the maximum legally allowed amount, along with an increase in the late fee to $60. A significant concern is the absence of an on-site manager, with the current manager reportedly located 65 miles away. This lack of immediate on-site management can lead to delays in addressing resident issues and a diminished sense of community support.
The most critical issue raised by this reviewer is a prolonged problem with the well at their park, resulting in months without usable water. This is a severe deficiency that directly impacts the habitability and quality of life for residents. Adding to their frustration, this reviewer, who is in the process of selling their mobile home, reports that potential buyers have been unable to obtain an application from the park management. Moreover, the ongoing water issue has deterred potential buyers, causing significant distress and financial implications for the seller. The reviewer expresses extreme frustration with the difficulty of contacting management, stating that it has been "impossible to get someone on the phone or get someone to call me back!" This lack of communication and responsiveness further exacerbates the negative experience.
Given that BoaVida RV Parks and Resorts owns multiple locations, it is possible that the Sacramento property at 1910 Terracina Dr operates differently. However, these reviews highlight potential systemic issues within BoaVida's management practices that could extend to any of their properties. Concerns regarding water supply reliability, the presence or absence of on-site management, rent increase policies, communication with residents, and the overall maintenance and upkeep of the parks are significant factors that potential residents should investigate thoroughly.
When searching for "RV parks near me" for long-term stays, reliability of utilities (including water), the responsiveness of management, the clarity of lease agreements and fee structures, and the overall condition and safety of the park are paramount. The reviews found online for BoaVida-owned properties suggest potential shortcomings in several of these critical areas.
Therefore, if you are considering the BoaVida RV Parks and Resorts location in Sacramento, it is strongly recommended that you:
- Contact the park directly at the provided phone number to inquire about the current on-site management situation.
- Thoroughly inquire about the water supply and its reliability at the Sacramento location.
- Request detailed information about the space rent policies, including the history of rent increases and any applicable fees.
- Visit the park in person to assess the overall condition, cleanliness, and atmosphere.
- If possible, speak with current residents of the Sacramento location to get their firsthand experiences with the management and living conditions.
- Carefully review the lease agreement and all park rules and regulations before making any commitment.
Given the serious concerns raised in the online reviews regarding other BoaVida-owned properties, it would be prudent to approach the Sacramento location with caution and seek comprehensive information to ensure it meets your needs and expectations for a long-term living situation. The lack of positive reviews specifically for the Sacramento address in the provided information further underscores the need for thorough personal investigation.
In conclusion, while BoaVida RV Parks and Resorts at 1910 Terracina Dr, Sacramento, CA, is an option to consider when searching for "RV parks near me," the publicly available reviews regarding other BoaVida-owned properties raise significant concerns about management practices, utility reliability, and rent policies. Potential residents are strongly advised to conduct extensive research and a thorough on-site visit, including speaking with current residents, before making any decisions about residing at this location.

BoaVida RV Parks and Resorts Reviews
I moved into Woody Acres back in 2019. I worked in the office for awhile. And then BoaVida now owns Woody Acres RV Resort in Rockport/Fulton Texas. In the past the turnaround of onsite Manager(s) and Office staff has been a revolving door. The video that BoaVida has on their website is not what Woody Acres looks like. A tad deceiving. There is so much work that needs to get done to make it appealing for newcomers. The constant water turn off is frustrating. Among other issues, flooding in the park is a nightmare. I have emailed documents to Manager on site, emailed Josh Court in regards to paying lawn service. A service that was brought to my attention and which I've paid over 2 years. I await that check to be mailed to me. I now have opted out of such service. I thought Woody Acres was a 55+ Park. One can see the eyesore overflow of trash dumpsters when entering Woody Acres. I have seen young kids running around on bicycles and in pool are without any supervision which I have addressed to Manager. Too much to email, but will be sending documents for Josh Court via Mail.
May 25, 2023 · Betty SustaitaI have owned a mobile home in a park for over 20 years. The park was purchased by BoaVida a couple of years ago and the space rent has increased every year by the maximum amount legally allowed. The late fee increased to $60. There is no manager at the park; the current manager is 65 miles away. There has been a major issue with the well at my park for months and I have not been able to use my water. I am also in the process of selling my mobile home and the potential buyers have been unable to get an application from the park management and the issue with the water has scared potential buyers away. I am extremely frustrated and it has been impossible to get someone on the phone or get someone to call me back!
Apr 14, 2023 · Evelyn PalmerBig shout out to Kenny who came out to help me with my gas leak issue. No one at Rio Vista RV Park would help since no one was working here since Friday. (4 days) Kenny came out and dealt with the issue so I could have heat, hot water and hot food again.Unfortunately it doesn't seem like BoaVida wants to do it's BEST out here. This place could be so beautiful and so great but they seem to be missing the point. Why have beautiful river front property and then treat it like junk?
Dec 13, 2023 · Polly BowersThey took over my park. Upper management didn’t believe that the people o deal with on a daily basis are thievesAfter getting injured by loose dogs. The person who does not own them was told if it happens again they would have to get rid of themGet rid of what? She’s a dog walker!! Not owner. That girl needs to be evicted! Not the owners
Mar 05, 2024 · Sherry McsherryAwful unprofessional disorganized management. They struggle to keep records properly, to keep employees consistently. If you are considering moving to one of their communities do yourself a favor and see the many lawsuits they have lost for failure to maintain their parks and over charging their residents. I wish I had its been a nightmare getting my home set up to be relocated out of one of their parks.
