Are you searching for a peaceful and conveniently located RV park near Grand Rapids, Michigan? Look no further than Brookshire Meadows, situated at 7663 Quail Run SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508, USA. While categorized under 'RV parks near me', Brookshire Meadows primarily functions as a mobile home park offering long-term lot rentals for mobile homes and newer modular homes. This established community provides a unique living experience just outside the bustling city, offering a blend of tranquility and accessibility.
Brookshire Meadows boasts a generally quiet environment, as highlighted by residents. Many appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the sense of community fostered among the neighbors. You'll often find residents tending to their gardens and enjoying outdoor barbecues, creating a friendly and welcoming ambiance. This neighborly spirit contributes significantly to the overall positive living experience within the park.
The park's location is a significant advantage. Situated just outside of Grand Rapids, residents benefit from easy access to the city's amenities, including shopping centers, restaurants, entertainment venues, and essential services. This prime location allows for a comfortable suburban lifestyle with the convenience of urban proximity. Whether you need to commute to work, run errands, or simply enjoy the city's offerings, Brookshire Meadows provides a well-connected base.
While Brookshire Meadows primarily caters to mobile homes and modular homes with long-term lot rentals, it's important for those searching under the 'RV parks near me' category to understand the current infrastructure and amenities. Based on recent feedback, the park currently does not feature common recreational facilities such as a community center, swimming pool, dog park, or playground. This is a crucial point for potential residents who prioritize these amenities.
The lot rental fees at Brookshire Meadows have been noted by residents as being relatively high. According to reviews, the monthly lot rent can reach approximately $682. It's important to consider that the lot rent might vary based on factors such as the size of the home lot, the number of occupants, and the number of pets. Prospective residents should inquire about the specific pricing structure based on their individual circumstances to accurately assess the overall cost of living.
One aspect mentioned in the reviews is the perceived difficulty in contacting the owners or management via phone or email for support. While residents have noted this as a challenge, they also mention that the management is present on weekends, addressing park rule adherence. It is advisable for potential residents to clarify the best channels and expected response times for communication with the management team.
Another point of feedback concerns the condition of some of the older homes located near the park's entrance. Residents have described some of these properties as dilapidated and unkempt. However, on a positive note, newer modular homes are being constructed towards the south side of the park, contributing to the modernization and overall appeal of certain areas within the community. This ongoing development suggests a potential for continued improvement and a more contemporary aesthetic throughout the park in the future.
Despite the noted drawbacks, many residents express overall satisfaction with living at Brookshire Meadows. The quiet atmosphere, friendly neighbors, and convenient location are consistently highlighted as positive aspects of the community. The ongoing addition of newer modular homes further enhances the appeal for those seeking a long-term living arrangement in a well-situated park.
For individuals and families seeking a long-term, quiet residential environment for their mobile home or considering a new modular home near Grand Rapids, Brookshire Meadows presents a viable option. The strong sense of community and the desirable location offer significant advantages. While the absence of certain recreational amenities and the cost of lot rental should be carefully considered, the peaceful setting and friendly atmosphere contribute to a positive living experience for many residents.

Brookshire Meadows Reviews
4/5 stars. We have lived here since 2021. The lot rent is quite high ($682/Month) considering there is not a community center, pool, dog park, or playground (Grandkids?) located in or around the place. The owners are basically unreachable by phone or email so we do not rely on them for support here, though they do manage to run around on the weekends and write tickets for cars and items that are out of place per the park rules. Also, several homes near the entrance are dilapidated and unkempt.Outside of those nuances, the park is quiet with friendly neighbors, most people take care of their homes/yards, and the location just outside the city is fantastic. Newer modular homes near the south side of the park in the back are being built, and helping modernize certain areas throughout the park.Overall, we like it here and have had few issues.
Sep 08, 2022 · Mitchell ReppEveryone is incredibly friendly. It's a nice area. People will be outside working on their flower gardens and barbecuing. The only downside that I can see is that they are expensive. Lot rent is based on the size of the home lot, the number of people living there, and the number of pets. By the time you pay possibly $650 a month in lot rent and then your trailer payment, you might as well buy a house.
Apr 15, 2021 · TheresaMy roommate and I went to look at homes in this park two times. The owner of the park kept us coming back but was supposed to get a call back about the price of a couple homes we were interested in but never did. We called and left several messages. I feel that we were discriminated against because the owner didn't want us to live in their park. We had cash to buy a home, so you would think that we'd get a call about the cost of the home's we wanted to buy but we didn't meet the criteria for their park. We are glad because we found a beautiful home and the park was glad to take our cash! I guess we weren't good enough for their park!
Oct 13, 2020 · Ann HarrisI've lived here for over five years.Aàaaàh it's peaceful and quiet.Very well maintained. The people are friendly,. Well most of them but that's just life.I've found that management is responsive and more than willing to assist with any questions or concerns.I've recommend Brookshire Meadows to others and will continue to do so.Some find problems with everything. If you look hard enough I guess I could find something to complain about. But why?I give Brookshire Five 🌟.
