Casa Del Rey Mobile Home Estates Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Hemet, California area, Casa Del Rey Mobile Home Estates, located at 881 N Lake St, might be a community to consider for a long-term stay. While primarily a mobile home park, some such communities do accommodate RVs for extended periods, offering a residential setting with certain amenities. Based on recent feedback from residents, Casa Del Rey Mobile Home Estates presents a mixed picture, with some appealing features alongside areas of concern regarding maintenance and facilities.
One resident who has lived in Casa Del Rey for over three years expresses a strong appreciation for the amenities, specifically mentioning a "heated pool" and a "beautiful gym." These are significant advantages that could appeal to RV owners seeking a community with opportunities for recreation and fitness. The availability of a heated pool allows for year-round enjoyment, and a well-equipped gym can be a valuable asset for maintaining an active lifestyle during a long-term stay. This resident also notes the pleasant environment, mentioning the ability to "walk anytime of day and see the beautiful mountains," highlighting the scenic surroundings of the community.
Furthermore, this resident expresses positive feelings towards the management, stating, "Love Nikki our manager. We feel comfortable." A positive relationship with the park management is crucial for a comfortable and stress-free living experience, as it indicates responsiveness to resident needs and a welcoming community atmosphere. This personal endorsement suggests that the on-site management at Casa Del Rey Mobile Home Estates is approachable and helpful.
However, another, more recent review (updated March 14, 2025) presents a more critical perspective on the community's upkeep. This reviewer describes the "Complex maintenance" as "average," which might be acceptable to some but suggests room for improvement. More concerning are the specific maintenance issues detailed, including "Asphalt old, road paintings faded," indicating a lack of attention to the park's infrastructure. The presence of "broken bricks & weeds throughout the park" further suggests that general landscaping and minor repairs are not being adequately addressed, potentially affecting the overall aesthetic appeal of the community.
The same reviewer also points out that "common area facilities" have been "turned into storage rooms or eliminated," which is a significant drawback as it reduces the amenities available to residents. This could be particularly disappointing for RV owners who might have been attracted by the promise of communal spaces. Additionally, the issue of "trees encroaching on adjacent home sites or not properly maintained" suggests a lack of attention to landscaping that could impact individual living spaces and the overall appearance of the park.
Another point of concern raised is the "Large percentage of non-owner home rentals." While not directly impacting RV residents, a high number of rentals can sometimes lead to less community cohesion and potentially less investment in the long-term upkeep of the park. The reviewer also notes "Limited Guest parking," which could be an inconvenience for RV owners who may have visitors during their stay. The observation that "Streets not maintained for cleanliness" corroborates the earlier point about trash and overall upkeep, suggesting a broader issue with the park's cleanliness standards.
A significant environmental concern mentioned is "Water sediment." Poor water quality can be a major issue for long-term residents, affecting everything from drinking water to appliance functionality. RV owners rely on clean water hookups, and the presence of sediment raises concerns about the reliability and quality of this essential utility.
Finally, the lack of pet-friendly facilities is highlighted, with the reviewer stating, "No dog park or grass area for dogs." For RV owners who travel with pets, the absence of dedicated spaces for their animals can be a significant disadvantage. The observation that the "Spa is yellow" further underscores the maintenance issues within the community, suggesting that even recreational amenities are not being properly cared for.
Considering these contrasting reviews, Casa Del Rey Mobile Home Estates offers the appeal of a heated pool and gym, along with scenic mountain views and seemingly approachable management. However, potential long-term RV residents should be aware of the reported issues regarding average maintenance, faded infrastructure, overgrown landscaping, limited guest parking, unclean streets, potential water quality issues, and the absence of pet-friendly facilities like a dog park. The conversion or elimination of common area facilities is also a point to consider.
As there is no promotional information provided, any potential incentives or special offers for long-term RV stays at Casa Del Rey Mobile Home Estates are unknown. Jan 09, 2025 · Vivian HaddadBeautiful Hemet, California mobile home park! The grounds are clean, the staff is friendly, and the mobile home units are plentiful and well-spaced. The park has two sides to it, divided by Lake Street. The community is gated, with separate automated and key-entry gates on both sides.
