Cheyenne Mountain Estates Introduce
Cheyenne Mountain Estates is located at 8160 Piute Rd in Colorado Springs, Colorado. For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" with an interest in potential long-term stays, or those considering mobile home living within the Colorado Springs area, Cheyenne Mountain Estates offers a specific location to consider. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview based on the address and the customer feedback available online, highlighting both positive and negative perspectives on the community.
The address on Piute Road places Cheyenne Mountain Estates within Colorado Springs, a city known for its stunning natural surroundings at the base of the Rocky Mountains, including the iconic Pikes Peak and Cheyenne Mountain. Residents of Cheyenne Mountain Estates likely benefit from the proximity to outdoor recreational opportunities, scenic views, and the amenities of a major metropolitan area. The specific environment of the mobile home park itself would depend on its exact location along Piute Road and the surrounding landscape, potentially offering a more suburban or semi-rural feel given its distance from the city center.
Based on the limited information available, it is not definitively stated whether Cheyenne Mountain Estates offers services and amenities specifically for RVs seeking long-term stays, which would be a key consideration for users of the "RV parks near me" platform. The customer reviews focus on the experiences of mobile home residents. Therefore, individuals interested in this location for extended RV stays would need to contact the park management directly at (719) 576-0910 or +1 719-576-0910 to inquire about the availability and terms for RV sites, including details on utility hookups such as electricity, water, and sewer connections. It is possible that as an "estates" community, the primary focus is on long-term residents in mobile homes.
Customer reviews of Cheyenne Mountain Estates present contrasting views on the community. One reviewer expressed significant dissatisfaction, describing the park as needing updates and improvements, particularly to the streets. This reviewer felt that the property owner should invest more in the infrastructure and overall appearance of the park, suggesting it might have been in better condition in the past ("about 50 years ago"). This negative feedback raises concerns about the maintenance and upkeep of the community's physical infrastructure.
Conversely, another long-term resident (15 years) offered a more positive perspective, highlighting the quiet atmosphere and lack of crime as significant benefits of living in Cheyenne Mountain Estates. This resident also praised the manager, Vanessa, for being "amazing" and effective in her role, noting her diligence in keeping the park clean and enforcing community rules. This positive feedback suggests that while there may be physical infrastructure issues, the management is proactive and contributes positively to the living environment and safety of the community.
The long-term resident did mention that rent has been steadily increasing, with the current year being the highest since they moved in. This is a common factor in many long-term living situations and should be a consideration for prospective residents. However, the resident's continued tenure despite the increasing rent suggests that the benefits of the quiet environment, low crime rate, and effective management outweigh the cost for them.
For individuals considering Cheyenne Mountain Estates as a potential long-term living option, whether in a mobile home or potentially an RV, these differing perspectives are important to consider. The negative review points to potential issues with the physical infrastructure that may impact the quality of life. The positive review highlights significant benefits such as a quiet and safe environment, coupled with a well-regarded manager who actively maintains the community standards. Prospective residents should weigh these factors based on their own priorities and potentially seek further information or visit the property to assess the current conditions.
Mobile home parks typically operate by residents owning their manufactured homes and leasing the land (or lot) from the park owner. Cheyenne Mountain Estates likely follows this model. Individuals interested in purchasing a mobile home within the community or renting a lot for an existing mobile home would need to contact the park management to inquire about availability, lot rental fees, and any specific rules or regulations governing residency. The positive feedback about the manager suggests that these inquiries would likely be handled professionally and helpfully.
The specific features and amenities of Cheyenne Mountain Estates are not detailed in the limited online information. Typically, mobile home parks offer basic infrastructure such as paved roads (though the negative review suggests these may be in need of repair), utility connections (water, sewer, electricity), and possibly common areas. Depending on the park, there may be additional amenities such as laundry facilities, community centers, playgrounds, or recreational areas. The available reviews do not mention specific amenities, so individuals interested in learning more about these aspects should contact the park management directly.
Promotional information for Cheyenne Mountain Estates is not available based on the provided data. Mobile home parks may occasionally offer incentives for new residents or special terms for lot rentals. To inquire about any current promotions or offerings at Cheyenne Mountain Estates, interested individuals should contact the park management using the provided phone numbers. They would be the primary source for information on availability, pricing, and any special deals that may be in place.
In conclusion, Cheyenne Mountain Estates in Colorado Springs, CO, presents a mobile home community with a long history and differing perceptions among residents. While concerns have been raised about the upkeep of the physical infrastructure, particularly the streets, a long-term resident praises the quiet environment, low crime rate, and the effectiveness of the park manager. For those searching for "RV parks near me" for long-term stays or considering mobile home living in this community, it is essential to weigh these perspectives and contact the management directly to inquire about current conditions, lot availability, amenities, and any potential accommodations for RVs. Understanding both the potential drawbacks and the reported benefits will be crucial in making an informed decision about residing at Cheyenne Mountain Estates.

Cheyenne Mountain Estates Reviews
Yikes, as much $ as this property owner probably rakes in, they could at least afford to update these streets AND improve the entire place! It was probably a decent place about 50 years ago! I feel sorry for the residents that have to pay to live here.
Aug 11, 2024 · Dedleh Auntea-faI've lived here for 15 years now. Although the rent keeps increasing and this year has been the highest since I moved here, I do love the quiet and lack of crime. The manager, Vanessa, is amazing and is always on top of things. She tries very hard to keep our park clean. And for those that don't abide by the Park rules, she is stern and will give a violation to. It's a beautiful place to live.
