Terrible slum lord the trailer park has a sign that names it as BLUE AND GREY trailer park .which won't come up if you search it because he wants it to be hidden under Clemons so no one can find it. Sonnie (the slumlord) is the worst. The water has had a rotten egg smell for years and (Smells like this is every other trailer here that I've been into as well) it has progressively gotten worse. The only thing I've ever seen him have done is get Dave his friend/ "maintenence man" to come dump pool tabs/chlorine tabs or pour actual bleach down the well inside the pump house without telling anyone what he was doing so they could maybe flush their faucets properly, Also one of the tenants died from upper respiratory issues about 5 years ago BEFORE covid even started, Upper respiratory problems can come from inhaling large amounts sulfate this neighbor had been asking Sonny to do something about the smell but Sonnie never fixed the problem this neighbor had sulfate in the air and BLACK MOLD everywhere In trailer and now he's dead. If you ask me sonnie is partially responsible for this man's death being the slum lord he is by continually ignoring his resident's pleas. Do yourself and your family a favor and DO NOT RENT here il be adding pictures below of the sign and phone number so everyone can see that it's the same number as this Clemons name that's listed on Google for those of you who don't know where this is located the address is 860 Winfied rd but this is the address of a building next to the park which just one of the other properties, not any of the trailers. the sign that says blue and grey is posted up at end of the driveway of this make shift "trailer park" near the econolodge. BEWARE ! RiP Robert you were a good neighbor. - steven clark

Clemons Mobile Home Park Introduce

If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Petersburg, Virginia area, it is crucial to conduct thorough research on potential locations. This profile addresses Clemons Mobile Home Park, located at Hickory Hill Rd, Petersburg, VA 23803, USA. While the provided information does not include a phone number, publicly available customer reviews paint a concerning picture of this property, which potential long-term RV residents or those seeking an alternative to traditional RV parks should be aware of.

The reviews strongly suggest that Clemons Mobile Home Park may also be known as "Blue and Grey Trailer Park," with one reviewer claiming the owner, referred to as "Sonnie" (and labeled a "terrible slum lord"), attempts to hide the latter name to obscure negative feedback. According to this review, searching for "Blue and Grey Trailer Park" does not yield results, allegedly a deliberate tactic to prevent potential residents from finding negative information associated with the property.

A significant and long-standing issue reported by a resident is the presence of a "rotten egg smell" in the water, which they claim has persisted for years and is prevalent in multiple trailers within the park. The reviewer alleges that the owner's response to this problem has been inadequate and potentially harmful, describing instances of a friend/maintenance man dumping pool chlorine or bleach directly into the well's pump house without informing residents, thus preventing proper flushing of faucets.

The most alarming accusation in this review involves a tenant who reportedly died from upper respiratory issues approximately five years prior to the review (before the COVID-19 pandemic). The reviewer suggests a potential link between these health problems and the persistent sulfate in the air, exacerbated by "BLACK MOLD everywhere In trailer." They claim this neighbor had repeatedly asked the owner to address the water smell, which was allegedly ignored. The reviewer directly holds the owner partially responsible for this death due to negligence and the continuous neglect of resident complaints.

Further details from this extensive review include a discrepancy in the listed address. While Google lists the address as Hickory Hill Rd, the reviewer states that the address associated with a nearby building (860 Winfied Rd) is sometimes used, not accurately representing the location of the trailers. The actual "makeshift 'trailer park'" is reportedly near the Econolodge, with a sign displaying "Blue and Grey" at the end of the driveway.

The reviewer concludes with a strong warning against renting at this location, urging families to "DO NOT RENT here" and promising to add photographic evidence of the sign and phone number to corroborate their claims. This level of vehement negative feedback should be taken seriously by anyone considering this property for long-term residency, including RV owners seeking a less conventional "RV park near me."

A second, shorter review echoes the negative sentiment, simply stating "Terrible." This reviewer specifically mentions the owner's refusal to "upkeep the drive way" and the presence of "black mold" in some trailers, corroborating the issues raised in the first review. Additionally, they allege overcrowding, stating that the owner "allows 4 people to stay in a one bedroom apartment and trailer." This suggests potential issues with property management standards and the overall living conditions within the park.

Considering the perspective of someone searching for "RV parks near me" for an extended stay, the information presented in these reviews is deeply concerning. The allegations of contaminated water, black mold, safety hazards (implied by the lack of maintenance and potential overcrowding), and an unresponsive landlord paint a picture of a potentially unhealthy and poorly managed environment. While RVs offer a degree of self-containment, long-term stays still rely on the park's infrastructure and management for essential services and a safe living environment.

The reported attempts to conceal the park's alternative name ("Blue and Grey Trailer Park") further erode trust and suggest a lack of transparency. Potential residents, including those with RVs seeking a less traditional setting, should be wary of such practices.

Given the severity of the issues raised – including potential health hazards, safety concerns, and allegations of negligence – it would be extremely prudent for anyone considering Clemons Mobile Home Park (or Blue and Grey Trailer Park) for an RV stay to avoid this location unless they can independently verify and be assured that these issues have been fully and effectively addressed. Relying on the limited positive aspects typically associated with RV parks (such as well-maintained facilities, clean water, and responsive management) would be a significant risk based on the available information.

Before even considering contacting the property, potential residents should weigh the serious allegations presented in these reviews. If one were to proceed with inquiry, it would be essential to ask specific and direct questions about the water quality, mold remediation efforts, maintenance procedures, and the owner's response to past complaints. Any assurances should be carefully scrutinized and, if possible, verified through independent sources or a thorough inspection of the property.

In conclusion, the publicly available reviews for Clemons Mobile Home Park (also known as Blue and Grey Trailer Park) in Petersburg, VA, are overwhelmingly negative and raise significant concerns about the safety, health, and management of the property. Individuals searching for "RV parks near me" for a long-term stay are strongly advised to consider these serious allegations and exercise extreme caution before considering this location. The reported issues of water contamination, mold, poor maintenance, and unresponsive management suggest that this may not be a suitable or safe environment for RV residents.
