Country Club Woods Manufactured Home Community Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" and considering your options for both short and potentially long-term stays in the Countryside, Illinois area? While traditionally a manufactured home community, Country Club Woods Manufactured Home Community, located at 9800 Joliet Rd, Countryside, IL 60525, USA, may present itself as a location with certain amenities and a community setting that could be of interest to those exploring RV living as a longer-term solution. It's important to note that the primary focus of this establishment is on manufactured homes, but the infrastructure and community aspects might appeal to individuals seeking an alternative to typical short-term RV parks.
Nestled in Countryside, Illinois, Country Club Woods offers a residential environment. The area benefits from its proximity to the greater Chicago metropolitan area, providing residents with access to urban amenities, employment opportunities, and cultural attractions while maintaining a more suburban feel. The location on Joliet Road suggests accessibility to major transportation routes, potentially making it convenient for those who need to travel around the region. The presence of mature trees and landscaping, often associated with established mobile home parks, could contribute to a pleasant and green environment for residents.
From a services perspective, traditional manufactured home communities often provide basic infrastructure such as water, sewer, and electrical hookups at individual lots. For those considering bringing an RV for a longer duration, these fundamental utilities are essential. It is crucial to directly inquire with the management about the specific services available for RVs, including the capacity of electrical connections and any regulations regarding long-term RV stays. Typically, such communities also offer common area maintenance, including upkeep of roadways and communal spaces.
In terms of features, manufactured home communities like Country Club Woods often have amenities designed for a more permanent residential experience. These can sometimes include a clubhouse or community center, which may offer spaces for social gatherings and events. The availability and condition of such facilities for use by longer-term RV residents would need to be verified with the management. Other potential features could include on-site management, laundry facilities, and possibly recreational areas. The reviews, however, raise concerns about the upkeep and functionality of some of these potential features, such as the clubhouse and general maintenance of the grounds.
Based on the information available, particularly the customer reviews, it is essential for prospective residents, including those considering long-term RV stays, to approach Country Club Woods with caution and a thorough understanding of the current conditions and management practices. Several reviews highlight significant issues with the office management, specifically mentioning rudeness, unprofessionalism, and a lack of responsiveness. One detailed account describes a negative experience renting the clubhouse, citing issues with timely access, cleanliness, malfunctioning appliances (refrigerator), locked climate controls, and a broken door. The reviewer also noted concerns about the lack of toilet paper and the poor condition of the floors.
Furthermore, the reviews point to potential problems with general maintenance within the community, such as potholes in the roads. The discrepancy in parking enforcement, with a guest's car receiving a warning sticker while other seemingly unauthorized vehicles were not ticketed, suggests inconsistencies in community rules or their enforcement. The recurring theme in the reviews is the dissatisfaction with the current office management and the impact it has on the residents' experience.
Considering these points, individuals searching for "RV parks near me" who might be drawn to the idea of a more community-oriented, potentially longer-term stay at Country Club Woods should conduct thorough due diligence. This includes directly contacting the management at (708) 352-2043 or +1 708-352-2043 to inquire about the availability and suitability of their lots for RVs, the specific services and amenities offered to RV residents, and the current policies and regulations. It would be prudent to ask detailed questions about the condition and accessibility of any shared facilities, the process for maintenance requests, and the community's rules regarding parking and guest access.
Prospective residents should also inquire about any promotional offers or long-term stay discounts that might be available. However, given the negative feedback regarding management and maintenance, it is strongly recommended to visit the property in person. A site visit would allow potential residents to assess the environment, the condition of the infrastructure, and the overall atmosphere of the community firsthand. If possible, speaking with current residents could provide valuable insights into their experiences and the day-to-day realities of living at Country Club Woods.
In conclusion, while Country Club Woods Manufactured Home Community is located in a potentially convenient area of Countryside, Illinois, and may offer the basic infrastructure needed for longer-term RV stays, the publicly available reviews raise significant concerns about the management and maintenance of the property. Individuals searching for "RV parks near me" who are considering this location for an extended stay should proceed with caution, conduct thorough inquiries, and ideally visit the site to make an informed decision. It is crucial to weigh the potential benefits of the location and community setting against the reported negative experiences to determine if Country Club Woods meets their needs and expectations for a comfortable and positive living environment.

Country Club Woods Manufactured Home Community Reviews
STAY AWAY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT! Country club woods should be ashamed of themselves to have such rude individual running your office but considering these other reviews you guys continue to allow this unpleasant person to stay employed. Do not try moving in this place if you don’t want to deal with the nasty attitude the office manager Nancy has. She will speak to you in a very condescending manner and will make you feel so dumb and less than! Terrible customer service!!!
Mar 19, 2025 · Samantha PerezI grew up here and the new management or the office employee Nancy are absolutely horrible and completely unprofessional. We booked the clubhouse room for my sons first birthday. It was an insane $350 to rent the room. We were told the the door would be unlocked at at 9. No one showed up. Myself, my mom and dad all tried to open the door. We called 3 times only speak to the answering service, who could only forward a message. The door wasn't unlocked until 10:15. Then Nancy has the audacity to come up nonchalant like nothing was wrong when she finally unlocked it. Like she didn't just make my entire family freak out, thinking we have to cancel my sons birthday party. We were still setting up for the party when our guests were arriving because of this. Then, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. The floors were filthy, my sons clothes were so dirty from crawling on these floors. The refrigerator does not work. Our drinks were in there for 3 hours and they didn't get a degree cooler. They also have the ac controls locked which is ridiculous. It was hot as hell. The door is broken and was swinging open the whole time we were there. My parents rented the room 25+ years ago and the door was broken then to but never fixed.. Nancy was sure to be on time asking us when we're going to be done though. But an hour later it was still unlocked with the door swinging wide open for anything to happen. And as the cherry on top of this shit show, we had two cars parked at my parents after, my husband was only parked for not even 10 minutes and we got stickers put on our cars saying we were going to get towed if we didn't move. Meanwhile the many other cars parked on the different streets didn't get tow warning. This has never happened in the 25+ years my parents have lived here. Today was supposed to be a day of celebration and happiness but everything was made to be so difficult. I still know multiple people here, and they all say the office management is horrible. Someone will be in the office, but not answer the phone. And the office is closed most of the time. When I was a kid there was always someone there during the work week. My whole family is so upset. Oh, and when my cousin was walking back to her car, she stepped in a pothole, tripped and busted her knee open. They can put annoying speed bumps, but they don't upkeep the roads here.
Oct 14, 2024 · Shannon AdamsAll the trailers are less then 10 12 ft apart. They are falling apart. It look like no one has cleaned their patches of land. No yards or space to bbq even. The office person Nancy has a very smart mouth and does not know speak to people. She spoke to me like I was a child, like I didnt understand what she was saying. is Very condescending. Won't ever go back not worth the crazy lot fee and being treated like a fool.
Feb 23, 2024 · DreaTerrible very expensive very unprofessional office manager the only thing you can count on is rent increases every year if you're looking for mobile homes look elsewhere that's not owned by this company...Also for the person saying that they can keep rent down because the taxes should help keep price down, your correctThey don't pay taxes because countryside is exempt from taxes I was informed by our last governor. So why is the rent constantly increasing...Greed!
Jun 29, 2023 · Jeff “jeffand123” AThe park is well maintained and several residents planted flowers near their house. The homes are too close to each other.
