Covered Bridge RV Park & Storage Reviews
I’m a travel nurse (night shift). I have been here since the last week of January. The park is quiet enough to sleep during the day normally. The grounds are well kept, and the laundry room is always clean. We have had 2 floods since I’ve been here. The first was in July, I believe, Pam, the manager, was out in the park, knocking on the doors that the water posed a threat. The second was worse & was just a couple weeks ago and it came in the middle of the night. Phil and Cassie, the owners were in the park at 3:30 in the morning, knocking on doors waking everyone one. They helped tenants and guests gather their outside belongings and get hooked up to evacuate. The only down falls was we had to change sites twice during our stay, but this was due to reservations made before we came, not too big of a deal. Also, there is not a public bathroom facility here. That is not a deal breaker either though. I’ve enjoyed this park and my travel job. I have already reserved my site for the full year of 2026.
Nov 25, 2024 · Connie BLFThis place isn't fancy, but it IS our RV Park of choice when in the St Louis area. It is clean, quiet and they are always working to keep it updated. The laundry room is NICE, We've full-timed for a little over two years and a really nice laundry room is a treat! The staff is amazingly friendly and go out of their way to be accomodating. Pam is a sweetheart. As an aside, it is only 10 minutes from a shopping area called Gravois Bluffs which has everything.
Oct 17, 2024 · LeslieThis is a small beautiful RV park in Fenton. It is truly a gem! The Office Manager Pam goes out of her way to accommodate all guest needs during your stay. We had a change of plans during our stay and Pam was more than helpful to accommodate our needs. The owner and Office Manager Pam go out of their way to keep the park clean. There is a laundry on site (open 24 hrs) with coded door for safety. The laundry room is kept very clean! All sites are FHU, back in only and VERY large spots with concrete pads and the mature trees allow a lot of shade. Plenty of space between campsites. Grass is cut and spots blown off every Wednesday to keep park looking clean and beautiful. Roads are asphalt and park is well lit up at night. We feel very safe here.
Aug 19, 2024 · Adam Still-BEWARE-Edited to add response to park at the bottom of review.I stayed at Covered Bridge RV Park in July 2024, and my experience was extremely disappointing. Despite paying for a peaceful and safe stay, I encountered several serious issues that made my visit uncomfortable and dangerous.Firstly, I was told to leave once due to potential flooding from rain, but when the campground actually did flood, I wasn't informed. I later found out that some people were notified while others, like myself, were left in the dark. This blatant favoritism by the employees is unacceptable, especially when it concerns the safety of all guests.Additionally, the sewage system is poorly managed. When the creek rises, the sewers back up, covering the area in black water. This not only created a health hazard but also made the environment unpleasant and unsanitary.Trash left behind by flooding was never cleared from my lot, adding to the overall neglectful management of the park. To make matters worse, the owner was inexplicably rude, making an already bad situation even more frustrating.Due to these issues, I had to move my RV multiple times to safe locations and eventually had to stay elsewhere at my own expense. I ultimately cut my trip short to escape the danger and no longer felt safe at the campground.I would not recommend Covered Bridge RV Park to anyone. The lack of communication, poor management, and unsafe conditions make it a place to avoid.RESPONSE:You don't inform anyone on your website of a flood zone, only after confirmation?4 inches of rain in St. Louis, not in Fenton. It had actually stopped raining by the time the flood on 7/16 happened.Your park manager, Pam, did NOT notify us, who were present the entire time. Our cameras did not pick her up "knocking on the door" nor did our dog or both of us hear any knocking on the door. We were not called, and the same is for alot of people we spoke to. Doesn't matter what she told you. No one informed me of anything. No call either, but my neighbor was called 1.5 hours before flooding.I do not recall praising you. In fact, I do recall you telling me you were going to get the debris out of my lot by the end of the evening and it was still there days later. You sir was rude to me and once you informed me that "you've got no one to be mad at but yourself" I wanted nothing more to do with this park. My review stands with all of the information 100% accurate while your response is suspect.I hope your day is good and your residents are safe.
Jul 24, 2024 · Grumpy LawrenceJust left our home away from home. We spend July here each year to visit our kids and grandkids. This is the perfect park for us! It is close to everything. The park is very clean and the campsites are huge! The staff is wonderful! Thanks Pam and Phil! See you next year!
