Deerfield Run Pointe Mobile Home Park Introduce
For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" or exploring mobile home communities in the Anderson, Indiana area, it is crucial to conduct thorough due diligence to ensure a comfortable and secure living environment. This overview provides an objective summary of Deerfield Run Pointe Mobile Home Park, located at 2735 Autumn Lake Dr, Anderson, IN 46017, USA, based on recent customer feedback available online. Potential residents should carefully consider the issues raised before making any decisions regarding long-term residency.
Recent reviews from individuals who have experienced Deerfield Run Pointe Mobile Home Park paint a concerning picture regarding various aspects of the community, including management practices, infrastructure, and environmental conditions. Multiple reviewers have expressed serious dissatisfaction, outlining issues that prospective residents should be acutely aware of. These concerns primarily revolve around alleged unfair treatment of residents, inadequate maintenance, and potentially high rental costs relative to the services provided.
One particularly alarming review details the alleged eviction of an elderly couple who own their double-wide home within the park. The reviewer states that this couple, with the older gentleman reportedly suffering from heart issues and dementia and the elderly lady also facing health problems, was given only 30 days to vacate. The stated reason for this eviction, according to the review, is purportedly linked to the maintenance staff's inability to "steal shit" due to the couple's German Shepherd. The reviewer further highlights what they perceive as inconsistent enforcement of pet policies, noting other residents with German Shepherds who are not facing eviction. This raises serious questions about fairness, consistency, and the treatment of vulnerable residents within the community.
The same review also mentions visible disrepair on a neighboring lot, describing a dog tied out in a "toreup bad" area, yet these residents allegedly do not face eviction. Additionally, the reviewer claims that the evicted couple has been "harassed" since purchasing their home and advises current residents to leave before potential removal or property damage. They also allege that maintenance staff have damaged the evicted couple's property after the eviction notice was served, specifically mentioning torn-down back skirts of their home. These are serious allegations that suggest a potentially hostile and poorly managed environment for residents.
Another significant concern raised in the reviews pertains to the park's infrastructure and maintenance, particularly during winter conditions. One reviewer states that the "winter roads not treated" and criticizes the park's snow removal capabilities, noting that instead of a plow truck, the park only has a "side by side," which they describe as "what a joke." Inadequate snow removal can create hazardous conditions for residents, especially the elderly or those with mobility issues, potentially restricting their movement and access during winter months.
Furthermore, this reviewer expresses dissatisfaction with the rental costs, claiming that the "rentals are the highest in the city." They suggest that for the prices charged, one could "rent a brick and mortar home," labeling the pricing as "shameful." This indicates a potential issue with the value proposition of living in Deerfield Run Pointe Mobile Home Park, where the cost may not align with the perceived quality of the community and its amenities.
Finally, the reviewer also points out environmental and aesthetic concerns within the park. They note that the "street solar power lights" are dim, comparing them unfavorably to a porch light. Additionally, they claim that "50% of those mobiles have algae green growth on siding," suggesting a lack of upkeep and potential neglect of the properties within the community. These observations indicate a potentially deteriorating environment that may not be appealing to prospective residents.
Considering the platform category "RV parks near me," the information gleaned from these reviews does not provide specific details about amenities or services offered to RVs at Deerfield Run Pointe Mobile Home Park. However, the serious concerns raised about management practices, infrastructure maintenance (particularly winter road treatment), and the overall environment of the mobile home park should serve as a significant caution for RV owners considering a stay here. If the management is perceived as unfair or unresponsive to the needs of mobile home owners, it is reasonable to assume that these issues could also extend to RV residents.
Potential residents, whether seeking a mobile home community or an "RV park near me" in Anderson, IN, should carefully weigh the negative feedback associated with Deerfield Run Pointe Mobile Home Park. The allegations of unfair evictions, inconsistent rule enforcement, inadequate maintenance, potentially high rental costs, and environmental neglect paint a concerning picture. It is strongly recommended that prospective residents look at alternative options and conduct thorough personal investigations before considering Deerfield Run Pointe Mobile Home Park as a place to live or park their RV.
To gain a comprehensive understanding, individuals should attempt to contact the management directly at (765) 643-4580 or +1 765-643-4580 to seek their perspective on the issues raised in the reviews. Visiting the property to assess the conditions firsthand and, if possible, speaking with current residents (beyond those who have posted reviews) could provide a more balanced view. However, the severity and consistency of the negative feedback warrant extreme caution for anyone considering Deerfield Run Pointe Mobile Home Park.
In conclusion, based on recent online reviews, Deerfield Run Pointe Mobile Home Park in Anderson, IN, appears to be facing significant challenges related to management practices, infrastructure maintenance, and the overall living environment. Individuals searching for "RV parks near me" or mobile home communities in the area are strongly advised to proceed with extreme caution and thoroughly investigate alternative options before considering this park.

Jan 25, 2025 · Chitty Chitty Bang Bang5/1/22 Update- been here almost a year, can't wait to move out.. storm doors are still broken, manager ignores requests, my electric bill was over $375 from January til May! Will post pic of bill.. Walls and floors are not insulated, windows are not winterproof either, our agreement included free trash, that only lasted a couple of months, they started charging Us for trash.. they did not honor our contract..for a 3 bed, 2 bath we're paying $1045 (that includes $25 x month fee for a small dog).. think twice before considering this place..- I signed up for one year in lease for one of the homes at Deerfield Run on June 8th , the house has several issues that needed to be addressed by management before Us moving in from out of state the weekend of the 4th of July, issues as: storm doors are broken( glass an screens), the house smells dirty due to the grime and trash inside the vents that were never cleaned, the outside light cover is broken and glass was left on the floor, bathroom vents clogged with dirt, storage shed its full of trash, mattresses and household items... our family came by the house several times to check on the progress with maintenance and filled Us in on any other issues.. nothing got done..We kept contacting management, the sales/ leasing office staff named Bill, and the response we always got its - "yes don't worry, I'll send my maintenance guy over" well.. we finally moved in last week and absolutely nothing has been done.. went physically to the office after moving in to also report a toilet leaking, and was told the same old quote.. still waiting on the maintenence guy.... if I can help anyone with this review, do not trust management with "we'll take care of this before moving in" RED FLAG . for sure we will NOT be renewing our lease once it's over or buying a house with this company.
May 04, 2022 · Andrea CIf you’re thinking of living here, DONT!!! Just RUN!!! Management is a joke, they can’t keep managers, they nitpick and charge an outrageous amount for lost rent/rent. You pay for THEIR property taxes on top of your own, if you miss specific mow dates then it’s a $230 charge for a MOBILE HOME. They blame everything on the health inspectors for the county, but upon calling they stated the “infractions” claimed by management was not their doing nor what they even do!!! If you don’t like what management is doing (which is anything they want) there is no way to contact THEIR boss nor do they give you their boss’s name. This place is ghetto and doesn’t do anything for their residents!
Feb 18, 2025 · Kimberly CarpenterAnyone has the temptation to move into this trailer park run. The management of this trailer park has no people skills whatsoever. The management likes to engage in Jerry Springer's type of drama with various residents. The price you pay for a lot rent will rise every year significantly. Policies are not equally enforced enforced. There are troublesome people in there and the management company seems to not want to deal with them. The rental units are poorly maintained and people wait for weeks to have essential things repaired. If you are unfortunate enough to own a trailer in there you will have them trying to find ways to squeeze money out of you. This place is well a trailer park with all the inherent issues that normal trailer parks have plus a number of additional ones that are perpetuated by the management. There was a time when there was a decent management company in there there was a time when there was a decent manager.
