Deerwood Estates Introduce
For local users in the Deer Park, Texas area searching for "RV parks near me" who might be considering long-term residential options or are open to exploring mobile home communities, Deerwood Estates, located at TRAILA #34, 4414 Durant Ave, Deer Park, TX 77536, USA, presents an evolving landscape based on recent customer reviews. While the platform category focuses on RV parks, this introduction aims to provide an objective overview of Deerwood Estates as a mobile home park, highlighting its environment, services, features, and recent changes.
Initial reviews of Deerwood Estates paint a concerning picture of past conditions. One reviewer described the "water system" as "horrible," alleging the use of "recycled water" that purportedly smelled of "human feces" and caused a rash on themselves and their spouse. This is a serious health and safety concern that potential residents would need to investigate thoroughly. The same review also mentioned an "invading of privacy," with claims of unauthorized pictures being taken of the front and back of the resident's home due to a deep freezer and toolbox being outside. Additionally, this reviewer described a younger maintenance employee as "snobby" and "not friendly," ultimately recommending against moving into the community.
These negative comments highlight significant issues related to essential utilities, privacy, and resident interactions with maintenance staff. Local users considering Deerwood Estates should be aware of these past experiences and seek current information on how these issues have been addressed under new management.
Fortunately, more recent feedback indicates a significant positive shift at Deerwood Estates due to a change in management. A review explicitly states, "New Management came in, and along with the new name change, they have really brought in major improvements." This suggests a proactive effort to address previous shortcomings and enhance the overall living experience at the park.
The specific improvements mentioned under the new management are substantial. These include "new pavement" throughout the community, which would enhance the aesthetics and potentially improve safety for walking and driving. The installation of "new fencing around the park" suggests an increased focus on security and defining the community boundaries. Furthermore, the new management is reportedly "enforcing lawn care," which would contribute to a more well-maintained and visually appealing environment.
The implementation of "digital water meters" is another significant upgrade, potentially leading to more accurate billing and resource management. The establishment of "professional office staff" addresses the previous concerns about informal management and lack of responsiveness. Additionally, the introduction of "new online rent payment options" offers residents a convenient and modern way to handle their financial obligations.
Another crucial improvement noted is "increased vigilance," implying a greater focus on the safety and security of the community. This, combined with the new fencing, could address any previous safety concerns raised by residents. The same positive review also mentions that the "neighborhood is quiet," which is a desirable attribute for many seeking a peaceful residential environment. It also advises potential residents to "Don’t go by old pictures on google," as "A lot of the older Mobile homes have been taken out," indicating an ongoing process of modernization and improvement within the community.
The reviewer who highlighted the positive changes concludes by recommending the community, citing a "fair renting price and safe for kids." This suggests that Deerwood Estates, under new management, is striving to create a family-friendly and secure living environment with reasonable housing costs.
Considering these contrasting reviews, it is evident that Deerwood Estates has undergone a significant transformation with the change in management. While past issues related to the water system, privacy, and staff interactions were concerning, the recent feedback emphasizes substantial improvements in infrastructure, management professionalism, and community environment. Local users who may have previously dismissed Deerwood Estates based on older information should consider these recent positive developments.
However, it is crucial for potential residents to conduct their own due diligence. Given the serious nature of the past water system concerns, it would be prudent to inquire specifically with the new management about the current water quality and any measures taken to rectify previous problems. Similarly, any concerns about privacy and community rules should be addressed directly with the office staff.
As Deerwood Estates is a mobile home park, the services and features might differ from a traditional RV park. Local users considering this community for long-term residential purposes should inquire about lot sizes, utility hookups (including water, electricity, and sewage), waste disposal, and any community amenities such as laundry facilities, recreational areas, or community centers that might be available. Information on pet policies and any restrictions on vehicle parking would also be important for potential residents.
The available information does not include any specific promotional offers or incentives being provided by Deerwood Estates under the new management. Local users interested in potential discounts or special rates should contact the park directly using the provided phone numbers: (281) 766-9486 or +1 281-766-9486.
In conclusion, Deerwood Estates in Deer Park, TX, appears to be a mobile home community undergoing significant positive changes under new management. While past reviews raised serious concerns, recent feedback highlights substantial improvements in infrastructure, management, safety, and overall community environment. Local users searching for residential options near RV parks in the Deer Park area should consider Deerwood Estates, but are strongly advised to contact the management directly to inquire about the current status of the water system, community rules, amenities, and any other concerns based on the older reviews. The positive trends suggest a community striving to offer fair renting prices and a safe environment, particularly for families with children.

Apr 07, 2020 · Nayeli CruzRude management, rules seems to be only applied to certain people. Very unprofessional people. The rude management is no longer at this location and I cannot be more pleased with the new manager, she is polite and very kind, I used to avoid showing up at their office because if just how rude and unprofessional they were but now that we have had a new manager for a few months now I no longer feel uneasy about coming in into their office. Congratulations to whoever picked her.
Oct 01, 2021 · Yesenia PerezWorst place I have ever stayed at.There is defiantly no rules in this place. Management doesn’t care about the renters.I stayed here a couple months, left in January and here we are in November and still have not received my deposit. I have been calling the office and every time they give me a stupid excuse and they tell me they will call me back and that never happens. If you are trying to look for a place to live, go somewhere else!
Nov 23, 2020 · Sofia MoralesIf I could give 0 Stars I would. There is a tree entangled above my RV that I have called and emailed about in total of 27 times over 14 weeks. Strive communities has done nothing to resolve the situation. If you have the option of a Strive Communities own property or something else. Take the option that is not Strive Communities.
