Hunters Creek Introduce
If you are searching within the category "rv parks near me" for a longer-term living situation in the Lapeer, Michigan area, Hunters Creek mobile home park is a community that may appear in your results. While primarily a mobile home park, these communities sometimes accommodate RVs for extended periods, offering a different style of long-term living. Based on the limited customer reviews available, there are some significant points to consider regarding Hunters Creek. Let's take an objective look at what can be inferred about its environment, services, and features to help you decide if it aligns with your needs when looking at "rv parks near me" for extended stays.
Regarding the environment of Hunters Creek, the provided reviews offer very little direct information. One review, seemingly from a homeowner within the community, speaks of their "home by deed title and lots both paid six and seven," suggesting a residential environment where residents own their homes and lease the lots. This implies a more settled, residential atmosphere compared to a transient RV park. The reference to "Hunters superior adversaries manage to know full paid by hymn be there already for me" is unclear in the context of describing the environment. The second review, from a long-term resident of over 25 years, doesn't explicitly describe the aesthetic or natural environment but focuses on management and infrastructure issues. Therefore, based solely on these reviews, it's difficult to form a clear picture of the physical environment of Hunters Creek.
In terms of services and management, the two available reviews present contrasting and concerning perspectives. The first review's mention of taking "residence upon my right as hoer" and a seemingly personal declaration about who is permitted to live there doesn't directly address the park's services or management in a typical customer service context. However, the second review is quite critical of the current management, identified as "Kingsley management." This long-term resident describes them as "just money hungry people," alleging that "your lot right does go up every year and you do not get nothing in return." A significant service-related complaint is the lack of infrastructure maintenance, with the reviewer stating that for the "last five or six years" they have been told the road would be fixed, but it remains unfixed. This suggests a potential lack of responsiveness to resident needs regarding community upkeep. The reviewer concludes that the management does "not care about the residents in their park all they care about is money money money," and mentions a substantial rent (lot fee) increase of $75, prompting a thought about collective legal action. This review raises serious concerns about the management's priorities and their responsiveness to the community's needs.
The features of Hunters Creek, as can be gleaned from these limited reviews, are primarily related to the nature of the community as a place where individuals can own their mobile homes and lease the land. This ownership aspect, highlighted in the first review, distinguishes it from a traditional rental-based RV park. However, the second review points to negative features such as potentially increasing lot fees without corresponding improvements and a lack of attention to infrastructure like road repairs. The absence of any mention of typical RV park or mobile home community amenities (e.g., clubhouses, laundry facilities, recreational areas) makes it difficult to list positive features based on this information alone. The long-term residency of the second reviewer (over 25 years) suggests that the park may have been a stable community at one time, but the tone of the review indicates a significant decline in resident satisfaction under the new management.
Considering these points, the features of Hunters Creek, as perceived by these reviewers, appear to be:
- Home Ownership Possible: Residents may own their mobile homes and lease the lots.
- Increasing Lot Fees: Allegedly rising annually without commensurate improvements.
- Neglected Infrastructure: At least one road has reportedly remained unfixed for several years.
- Perceived Money-Focused Management: A long-term resident describes the management as prioritizing profit over resident well-being.
From a promotional standpoint for local users searching "rv parks near me" for a long-term stay, it is challenging to find positive aspects to highlight based on these reviews. The critical feedback regarding management and infrastructure issues would need to be addressed and refuted with verifiable information to attract potential residents. For individuals seeking a stable, long-term community for their RV or considering purchasing a mobile home, the possibility of home ownership within Hunters Creek might be a point of interest. However, this would need to be balanced against the concerns raised about management and the increasing costs without apparent reinvestment in the community.
For local users in the "rv parks near me" category looking for an extended stay, Hunters Creek presents a situation that requires careful consideration. The potential for owning your dwelling is different from many traditional RV parks. However, the negative review from a long-term resident regarding the management's focus on profit over resident needs and the lack of infrastructure repair are significant red flags. These issues could directly impact the quality of life for any long-term resident, including those in RVs.
Given the limited and largely negative feedback, anyone considering Hunters Creek as part of their "rv parks near me" search for long-term living should proceed with caution. It is strongly recommended to contact the management to address the concerns raised in the reviews, particularly regarding lot fees, infrastructure maintenance, and their overall approach to resident relations. Visiting the community in person to assess the environment and speak with current residents (if possible) would also be a crucial step before making any decisions. The stark contrast in the tone of the two reviews, with the second being highly critical, suggests that prospective residents need to gather more information to form a balanced understanding of life at Hunters Creek.
In conclusion, Hunters Creek mobile home park in Lapeer, MI, as portrayed by the limited available reviews, presents potential benefits like home ownership alongside significant concerns about management practices and community upkeep. For those in the "rv parks near me" category seeking a long-term stay, thorough investigation and direct communication with the park management are essential to determine if Hunters Creek meets their needs and expectations.

Your lot right does go up every year and you do not get nothing in return. Every year for the last five or six years I have been told our road will be fixed but here it is still not fixed they do not care about the residents in their park all they care about is money money money.
