Jojoba Hills SKP Resort Introduce
Are you searching for exceptional "RV parks near me" in Southern California that offer more than just a place to park your rig? Look no further than Jojoba Hills SKP Resort, located at 45120 CA-79, Aguanga, CA 92536, USA. This highly regarded co-op RV park has garnered enthusiastic reviews from full-time RVers and seasonal visitors alike, suggesting a unique and desirable RV living experience.
Jojoba Hills SKP Resort stands out as a co-operative RV park, which often translates to a strong sense of community and member involvement. According to one long-term RVer of two years, this location offers so much that they are considering settling down here, even after being accustomed to a nomadic lifestyle. This speaks volumes about the appeal and the offerings of the resort.
One of the key aspects highlighted in the reviews is the popularity of Jojoba Hills. The fact that there was a waiting list of over 40 people for a spot, and one individual moved up 20 places in six months, indicates a high demand and suggests that securing a site might require patience and advance planning. This popularity is likely driven by the positive experiences of those who have stayed there.
A significant feature of Jojoba Hills SKP Resort is its affiliation with the Escapees RV Club. As noted by a reviewer who stayed for a week in January 2024 and subsequently became a member, membership in Escapees is a prerequisite for reserving a guest spot. This affiliation likely contributes to the strong sense of community, as Escapees is known for fostering a supportive environment for RVers.
For those eligible to stay as guests (i.e., Escapees members), Jojoba Hills offers remarkably affordable rates. The review mentions that boondocking sites with water and a nearby dump station are available for as little as $15 per night. This represents exceptional value, especially considering the positive feedback about the park's overall quality and location. Boondocking typically involves being self-contained in your RV, utilizing your own water tanks and power systems, with the convenience of a water source and a place to empty waste nearby.
The "awesome co-op RV park" description highlights several positive attributes: friendly people, a nice location, and reasonable rates. The reviewer's decision to become a member and plan to spend part of every winter at Jojoba Hills starting in November further underscores the positive experience and the desire for a recurring stay. This suggests that the park is particularly appealing for snowbirds and those seeking a welcoming RV community for longer durations.
While the reviews do not explicitly detail all the amenities and services offered at Jojoba Hills SKP Resort, the positive comments and the co-op nature of the park suggest that it likely provides essential facilities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for its members and guests. Based on typical offerings at well-regarded RV parks, Jojoba Hills might include:
- Various Site Types: Beyond boondocking sites, there may be sites with full hookups (water, electricity, and sewer) available for members, potentially at different rate structures.
- Community Areas: Co-op parks often have clubhouses or common areas where members can socialize, participate in activities, and access amenities like laundry facilities, restrooms, and showers.
- Recreational Facilities: Depending on the resort, there could be amenities such as swimming pools, hot tubs, fitness centers, game rooms, or outdoor sports areas.
- Organized Activities: Many RV communities, especially those with a strong member base, host events, gatherings, and activities to foster social interaction among residents.
- Maintenance and Support Services: As a well-regarded park, Jojoba Hills likely has staff to maintain the grounds and assist guests and members with any issues.
The "nice location" mentioned in the review is another significant draw. Aguanga, California, is situated in Riverside County, known for its scenic landscapes and a more rural setting compared to the bustling urban centers of Southern California. This suggests that Jojoba Hills might offer a peaceful and relaxing environment, possibly with access to natural beauty and outdoor activities in the surrounding area. Potential attractions could include hiking trails, wineries (as Temecula wine country is nearby), and a quieter pace of life.
The strong recommendation from a seasoned full-time RVer and the enthusiasm of a new member indicate a high level of satisfaction among those who have experienced Jojoba Hills SKP Resort. The combination of a friendly community, a pleasant location, and affordable rates, particularly for boondocking with essential services, makes it an attractive option for RVers, especially those affiliated with the Escapees RV Club.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" that offer a welcoming community and long-term potential, Jojoba Hills SKP Resort appears to be a prime choice. However, it is crucial to note the membership requirement with Escapees RV Club to reserve a guest spot. For those not already members, joining the Escapees club would be a necessary first step to experience this highly recommended park.
While specific promotional information is not provided in the reviews, the affordable rate of $15 per night for boondocking sites (for Escapees members) can be considered a significant value proposition. The high demand, as evidenced by the waiting list, suggests that availability might be limited, and early booking or joining the waiting list may be necessary.
In conclusion, Jojoba Hills SKP Resort in Aguanga, CA, offers a compelling experience for RVers, particularly those who are members of the Escapees RV Club. Its reputation for a friendly community, a nice location, and reasonable rates, including very affordable boondocking options, makes it a highly sought-after destination. The positive reviews from both long-term and short-term visitors underscore its appeal. If you are an Escapees member looking for an exceptional "RV park near me" in Southern California, Jojoba Hills SKP Resort should be at the top of your list. For those not yet members, the benefits of this co-op park might make an Escapees membership worthwhile.

Jojoba Hills SKP Resort Reviews
I've been full time for two years in the RV, but this place has so much to offer, I may settle here! I put up a deposit...the list was over 40 people long trying to get a spot. In 6 months of waiting I moved up to number 20 on the stand by list.
Aug 10, 2024 · Peter KrigerAwesome co-op RV park. Friendly people, nice location and reasonable rates. We stayed a week in January 2024 and like it so much we became members and will spend part of every winter here beginning in November. Please note, you must be a member of Escapees to reserve a guests spot, and can stay and enjoy all of the facilities for as little as $15 a night for a boondock site with waster and a dump station nearby.Highly recommended
Sep 02, 2024 · Sparklers From_NJI think because SoCal is so busy there are less long term Rv spots to stay. When jojoba resort said they had a spot I didn’t see the red flags ahead of time. When I called and booked a spot she reminded me they are a “quiet” resort. Yes you can hear a pin drop. Sites are large which is nice. Took us over an hour just to get from the resort to hey 15 because of the horrible traffic coming down the hill from the resort. The owners of the site we were staying in decided to visit and do “yard work” while we’re there and all their friends came to visit . It was awkward they were there for a half day. I was confronted by a neighbor 2 rows down while I was on a walk one day, he said that we need to put our recyclable boards in the proper bin (that was not marked) and he knew it was us so do not deny it. It was a odd vibe there and we have a 7 year old. It is an over 55 community but they make exceptions for escapee members. It was hard to relax there. Felt like we were walking on egg shells. You can stay long term but 28 days is the max. You need to purchase the escapees membership to stay here as well.
Jun 22, 2023 · terry mlThis is a beautiful RV resort with everything you could imagine. It also has the friendliest people of any place I've ever been. Join the SKP resort. It's the best
Apr 18, 2023 · Emil WolfeTheir yearly 300 family yard sale was a bunch of typical items. If you want to come make sure you are there at opening for any chance of decent finds.
